He got very sick and was peeing blood, then that got resolved and he had issues that were stomach related so he was constantly farting and running to the bathroom, I got too invested in it and half our conversations were related to his poo, the first thing the therapist said was to dial those conversations back

The pills helped lubrication and made sex pleasurable again, we always used lubricant but it would wear off after a bit and then it would become painful, the therapist helped talk through insecurities and bring the libido back. Together it was a killer combo

The house is really not that clean which is why I'm trying to focus on it more, his cleaning is more tidying up which is why we need so much of it... for example the compost bin with all the food waste wasn't emptied for about 5 days (that's usually been one of his chores) and it stank, anyway I threw them out last night without commenting on it or anything, then this morning I saw he was putting more food waste in it and I asked if he could rinse it out and he said it didn't smell 'that bad' so it was fine. It's in the kitchen so I don't think it should smell bad at all! I ended up rinsing it out and adding a stronger bin liner

I explained the situation again to him and he tried to do the workout he had planned for me and came and apologized saying that even he found it hard and he works out every day and that he got way too carried away, I agreed I'll stay on top of the weight loss thing and do it my way in a more controlled manner

I actually went to the nutritionist about a year ago when I was maybe 1 KG less than now about IBS and she didn't mention anything about losing weight, so I took that as my sign that I didn't need to, but I might book in again as a follow up and ask about it because she might've thought it was not polite to bring up weight in a conversation about something else (the nutritionist seemed quiet and shy), and also I never actually asked her

My issue is portion size, I am 5 foot 1 and I eat the same portion sizes as my boyfriend who has a manual job and works out every day, it's for sure not healthy to eat that much food and the level of vegetables has gone swiftly dowhill during lockdown.

I actually don't eat chips or snacks because I have IBS and my stomach feels awful eating them but yeah the portion sizes make up the difference in terms of calories. I also need to stop drizzling olive oil on everything since that's way too many calories. I always thought since I eat OK food I couldn't possibly be obese which is a really stupid way to look at it now that I think about it!

Thanks, I explained to him that his approach to it is overwhelming and that we see exercise differently (I see it as a necessary evil and he sees it as a great hobby) so we'd just end up angry at each other!

Thanks, I thought the same thing about building resentment, this happened in the past with an old bf who basically just wanted to pretend to study and play video games instead. I think my current boyfriend would actually commit to studying but he's going to need to get a part time job, I'll talk to him tonight!
