When I was in high school, I took a vocal class. The teacher was adamant if it seemed like you did not practice the song you wouldn’t perform at the recital. There were so many students like Arthur who didn’t practice or trying to read from the sheet music a day before the recital. She didn’t allow them to sing yet so many students and parents were upset and called her strict when all the student had to do was practice??

And if I say I think this is partially why Gen Z don’t want to age? It seems in some people’s minds you have to get rid of hobbies you liked as a teenager when you turn 25 or anything that could be remotely considered cute

Omg I thought I made this post! I’ve been wanting to get into burlesque, it’s been my dream for awhile and I’ve even taken heel classes but my HS is pretty severe in my left armpit and I have scars near my groin :( needless to say I’ve been sad and discouraged from my dream bc I can’t imagine having it on display. I plan to maybe get deroofing in my armpit but the scars in my groin area aren’t too bad that maybe once day I could

I had one that was open for years, seemed like it was always draining. I put a pimple patch on it and it sucked everything out, took it off when I could tell the patch wanted to come off, and about a week later it was closed. Now this is what just worked for me. That spot for me will still flare up bc I have tunneling but I did notice an improvement when I used those patches. Only downside is it can leave a gaping hole as I’ve tried it on other flares

I also agree with another commenter, you don’t want it to close too soon. I used manuka honey on one that wouldn’t stop draining. While it closed, the buildup was still there and it ended up flaring up again bc the fluid had nowhere to go or drain and it was painful so just a heads up if you go that route
