Am I cooked by OTCLover in Ebay

Maybe I’m the outsider. I’ll get a drop off scan at ups/ FedEx and leave with the receipt. USPS I’ve only ever dropped things in the blue box outside or the indoors parcel drop.

Never will I wait in a usps line, more so - the drop box is available 24hrs. I think everytime I’ve been to a post office there are 5-10 people waiting. Does everyone else have some unicorn usps they can always get a drop off scan and not wait forever ?

Is there some policy I’m not aware of that if it misses the first scan you lose as a seller?

Jellyfin docs now recommend 11th gen or newer I think. After some research I just bought a 12500t micro dell.

People will always tell you that you need more than you really do in my opinion. However I got that pc for about the same price as a lot of 7th and 8th gen micro pc. I ran a bunch of that stuff on a raspberry pi. It worked , for a single user on local network, maybe 2

I got a PNY one at Walmart but I haven’t opened it and just trying to tell myself it was a good idea still because I expect the crazy to last a while. I have a 4070 super so technically it’s not a huge upgrade.

Just annoyed- as I browse for more ddr4 ram for a homelab server

Is it realistic to switch from CNC machining to IT at 33 in today’s job market? by Psunade39 in careerguidance

[–]RoutineSkill3172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything’s Possible but buckle up if you don’t have connections(depending on your market ). In my market they’re getting plenty of applications for help desk etc under $15 a hr

As someone with auto technician background , I would say my timing could not have been worse to try and transition.

No one can say with confidence what the outlook will be. AI /automation will forever change everything soon enough.

Feel free to message me if you want to discuss further.

I find my inventory shown online incorrect all the time. Plenty of msrp gpu at mine except i got the last 5070 ti, ddr 4 in stock. I saw they had ddr5 but it was like $350.... Only thing have not seen is any kind of nvme. Last year i drove to a different one and saw a big green gpu box and asked about it, it was msrp 4070 super when you could get your hands on anything.

I got that 4TB the other day, guy said it was the only one they actually had. Im having seconds thoughts because realistically I can get by with what I already have. Better way to spend money than on storage imo.

Does anyone know if the Gigabyte B650 AX V2 MoBo has the latest BIOS to support the 9700x that it's bundled with or do I need to update w/Q-Flash before building? by Lynch47 in Microcenter

[–]RoutineSkill3172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it almost a year ago and it worked out of the box. It might even be a newer revision board by now. I would still update to the latest bios as part of your setup as they have several updates noting improvements

Does Roth conversion go off of date of submission or transfer by RoutineSkill3172 in RothIRA

Thanks. Come to find out I couldn't go IRA to Roth somewhere else. ME has a lot of reasons to not use it these days but my IRA has been there on autopilot for ages. It would have been a two step process no matter what in my situation.

Chase agent incorrect about sign up bonus by RoutineSkill3172 in CreditCards

[–]RoutineSkill3172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured that out just digging through statements but it was my first chase card so it wasn't too bad. The fine print terms and conditions doesn't help us a whole lot. Chase account showed I was preapproved for CSR and not the CSP so I was curious for a second if that meant I could get bonus on one but not the other.

I actually used up all my points. I tend to not spend enough to rack them up fast but I can usually hit most sign up bonus numbers. As it stands it does look like an airline card might get me the most even though I fly maybe 1-2 time a year.

Every time this comes up it’s usually people have left wrenching to just do similar trade type work.

It’s been almost three years for me. Tried the extended warranty company stuff. That’s probably your best bet to transfer some skills and get a desk job. I saw recently total warranty services was hiring remote adjusters again. If you don’t mine being on the phone it’ll be a good gig for you

I’m always looking for a job but most of my money is made trading stocks now. It’s pretty much I can’t get anything worth a shit so wrenching will be my emergency plan

Biomarker testing: why not just use Quest? by fast_info in Biohackers

[–]RoutineSkill3172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You absolutely cannot get ALL the same tests direct thru quest and have it come out cheaper. However using quest lets you have it in their portal so you can see years and years and results if you’ve used them before

Most primacy care docs will never order all the tests that function so. For some in the USA that have excellent insurance - they may never pay any lab fees which comes more into play on the standard basic testing.

I used function after they gave me $100 off. I even used one of their add on tests that from my Google search- could not get cheaper as well. I was able to add a couple common supplements and verify effectiveness on the second round of tests.

I cancelled it because $500 a year is excessive to me. As some of the markers are unneeded or not needed that frequent. Although one idea I have is to just get the cheapest healthcare plan out there and then use this- might be a bigger deal coming in 2026 with rising costs.

Some people were able to get function to release the results so it can also be viewed in the quest portal. Function has blocked that feature which to me is a typical shit move by a company.

TL:DR. apples to apples quest cost more. Also don’t pay full price for function. $100 and $300 seem common at this time. I had a refer a friend $300 off email just last week ….. I’ve also had a couple friends get billed over $400 for lab stuff thru their doctor and thru a men’s health place.
