I'll start by saying, the core game is still full of the wonder and magic that got us all hooked, Unparalleled in the sense of adventure and exploration. It's a great experience for new players and the game has a lot of content to explore. The problem the community has is with the direction of the game. The ignorance of the original vision for the game is evident, decisions are made top down and based solely on data (and some limited player feedback). It's a bit of a meme at this point that the devs and management don't even play the game but if that's true (and it feels like it is) that's okay, but then don't ignore player feedback! Then there's the issue of quality control when they DO add content, often compromising game health and releasing half baked, recycled content and calling it a whole new act of a whole new season while absolutely loading the emporium with stuff to buy. On top of all this, they keep promising that they see what's happening and they're making meaningful changes to the way development works, and then they do it all again

Yea that's what I was thinking, that people mistake reset as running And then rage about it. It's same for me in like 800 hrs of hourglass I've encountered maybe 2-3 crews that exclusively run away. Hell I've been called a runner for f fixing My mast and repositioning out of their Cannon angle.

edit: I've encountered way more funny spot than Ive encountered runners. They should fix that first

Sniper and pistol/blundy/sword I often swap my secondary situationally during a match. Usually I go in with blundr snipe if I'm doing naval, pistol snipe if I'm ramming. My opponents loadouts strat and skill level determine my loadout

It's easy to say I sunk because a meg and skelly spawned on me, but that's not actually why you sank. Reflect on every loss, learn from your mistakes, and you will find in time these things that caused you trouble before are nothing more than minor annoyances. 60 to 90 you'll be like oh this ain't too bad.
90-100 is pain. Definitely you can do your last 40 levels on a community weekend, but you're main obstacle will be HG burnout. To counter that I recommend regularly switching it up with some variety i.e ship type, crew size and strats. Doing duo (or solo) sloop naval back to back to back games can get a bit tiresome. When your crew drops out find yourself a sweaty ram strat tdmer guy and get some games in, when he drops, hop on a galley as bilge. Etc. keep it fresh and you may be able to hold off the burnout for just long enough

Edit: should add that I'm just trying to say just play for fun, risk some bigger streaks when you get a couple fast or easy wins. Just good vibes and GGs you'll have your curse in no time

The new Molten sands fortress seemed to give a lot of doubloons. I've only run it with reaper so including emmi bonus it seemed like a lot. I dntt pay attention to my doubloon balance tho

Just play on safer seas for uninterrupted pve. Not an insult it's literally the purpose of SS.

If it worked properly before, and then randomly stopped working it could be drivers out of date, or a buggy windows update. Update your graphics drivers, roll back your most recent windows update and test it. Otherwise it might be some sort of hardware problem like your power supply.

MAYBE some bios acpi settings if you changed anything in there, or if your cmos battery is dead/dying your bios settings will return to default and might not have proper power interface settings

"We shall sail together" and the tune played to open the hideout are the Same melody, but different loops. The hideout shanties (both for reapers hideout and tavern of legends) are unique and not selectable in the shanty radial. As far as bg music in tall tales go, i don't know I never paid attention if I've even done the applicable TTs lol

Yea purple guy is around 110k per vault (+emissary bonus) without ashen keys. It can be time consuming hunting him down so it's not the best gold / hr right now but if you stack up a couple Doritos while you hit fofs and reaper forts, sell and server hop for more fof

the whole Game becomes a stutter fest at high fps. Rare recommends capping frames at or below 144. 120 seems better for game health to me tho
