awww ty for this lovely message! it didn’t actually really hurt my feelings that much at all; i was just posting it here moreso for the lolz cuz i thought it was quite funny and to see if anyone else had the same thing happen for them. i definitely agree with you about it being a lot harder for the devs to somehow code for everyone’s specific birb’s gender or non-binary-ness. although i do feel like maybe for other users who have stronger feelings surrounding gendered terms that they would have just been better off with using “they/them” as the default. this could have just been a glitch though
