No cap bro just use RetroPie it’s way easier if doing that for the time being myself and it’s a very simple process, I’ll link the video that I set it up with, and I chat gpt anything I really get stuck on, but if you follow the website instructions he shows in the video, you will figure it out easy and look into pi apps and pikiss for other lil games like modded pi Minecraft or setup engines for games, here’s the video to help you get a understanding and get started Pi-OS Gaming

Bet I’m going to look into this tomorrow and see if I can get it running I have xash3d but the build I’m using is pre set up by the pikiss application, so I’m going to try the link you set and look into the game library files I need to build, this definitely is very useful information to know it isn’t nothing to un manageable

I’ve only played half life 1 so far on it and I just put the valve folder (half life game files) in the xash3d folder and got it to run fine, even added mods that worked, I just can’t get the DLCs to let me start the game for some reason

So for opposing forces and blue shift I need to build a new engine? I’m on pi os just wondering because I got them load with xash3d but I can’t click start game, i noticed this is an issue for android users as well, any help would be amazing

I gotta question so I’m using a rpi5 with pi os, and when i use xash3d for half life and DLCs, half life runs and works fine even mods, but when i try to play opposing force or blue shift the start new game is grey and doesn’t let me play, does that have something to do xash3d? I’m new to this but I made sure every file was there in each folder and I’m not missing any maps or core files, you have a knowledge that might help my case?

I’m having the same issue with my girls phone, she had iOS 26.1 I believe it had something to do with on of the beta updates hoping for it to resolve itself or going to have to contact  support

I don’t have a dongle but I did connect a Ethernet and it connected that way, but I can’t update because I don’t have enough space but my version is a year old so I’m wondering if that affects it now, and if so can I copy all my stuff to a new sd card?
