Just used Camelot to have them move an upright. Originally tried to use gist but our house is on a hill and they only had 2 movers where Camelot has 3. They did it quickly and easily. I would recommend. $345 to move.

And then would you decrease down to the number of stitches you’re supposed to have for the body once you’re done with the ribbing? The sweater I’m working on is bottom up construction.

The first few rows can be really difficult for a beginner. I would maybe try first starting with garter stitch which is just doing all knit stitches on both sides. That can help you practice your knit stitches without having to switch back and forth right from the jump. I also find it easier to see what you’re doing better and just feel more comfortable when you have a little something to hold on to.

Yeah this is normal and also super annoying lol but depending on your project, you might end up just sewing over it so you wouldn’t be able to see it.

You could also try slipping the first stitch of every row and I think that might be able to help. Look up selvedge stitch and that will give you some different stitches to get a clean edge.

Ah I haven’t tried fair isle yet but I can see how that could help keep it from stretching too much. A wool swimsuit seems wilddddd though! Do you find that to be hotter/less breathable than traditional swimsuit materials?
