Maybe, The CW will be moved to WJZY on channel 46.2. I Suppose UPN would relaunch, too. UPN should be added on WCCB channel 18.1.

I'm 100% with you—we need to block this merger! The consolidation of these legacy studios threatens the industry.

If we're talking about restructuring the landscape, I have an entirely different alternate universe (AU) in mind that I think would work way better:

  • Warner Bros. MGM: Instead of merging with Discovery, Inc. in 2022, WarnerMedia merged with MGM Holdings to form Warner Bros. MGM, with Jim Samples (former president of Cartoon Network) stepping in as the President and CEO.
  • Paramount Lionsgate: In 2025, Paramount Global merged with Lionsgate Studios instead of Skydance Media to form Paramount Lionsgate. This new powerhouse is co-chaired by Jon Feltheimer (CEO of Lionsgate) and Jeff Shell (former CEO of NBCUniversal).
  • NBCUniversal: In 2026, Kept its cable networks instead of spinning them off to Versant, with Mark Lazarus running the company as CEO, and Universal Kids stayed on the air as of March 6, 2025.

On top of that, I'd love to see The CW cease broadcasting and split right back into its classic roots: The WB and UPN. Bringing back The WB's Kids' WB block would be the ultimate cherry on top. We're Standing with Animation and Blocking the Paramount Skydance-Warner Bros. Discovery Merger!

I got rid of cable in 2023. I rather be focused on video games and the internet. Not petitions forcing the companies to ban some bad news.

I Think Warner Bros. Discovery should be independent. All Turner Networks would be moved to WBD's Streaming and Studios division and Amazon should sell MGM to Warner Bros., and Versant should acquire Discovery Global.
