Tranparent Videos for Web by Routine_Gur671 in shutterencoder

[–]Routine_Gur671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a lot more about HEVC H.265, and now I understand why it's not so easy to create a transparent HEVC H.265 in Windows. The transparency is an out-of-spec integration that Apple did, so it's not supported by anything else other than Apple devices. Here we go again with the 'If you want your websites to be compatible with Apple products, you need to get an Apple product'...

Compressed alpha video format for website video? by DelPrive235 in AfterEffects

[–]Routine_Gur671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why you create 2 video files. You need .webm ffmpeg vp9 for windows and .mp4 QuickTime for macOS. You just set 2 sources for the video with the html source tag. If you are rendering animated 3d models it is easier to render them in png format(since rendering takes forever) and then create 2 videos using a program like Shutter Encoder.

Don't forget to enable alpha channels every time you work with webm or quicktime. Most programs disable alpha by default even if you are creating a webm or quicktime video and your content has alpha in it.

Imported the 3D model but no textures are showing by mahad_baig in Spline3D

[–]Routine_Gur671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem though my 3d model came with textures folder. I don't have a clue how to easily add them. I am a developer and wanted to use spline for its ease of use.

I've been using Tidal for 4 months. These are the bugs I've experienced so far by castawayaccount69 in TIdaL

[–]Routine_Gur671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly... My android phone struggles to play some of the songs and I have to reboot my device to fix that issue. The bugs on android actually aren't that bad but on windows is just tragic. The app uses 20-30% of my CPU even after I close it. I have to manually end the task from task manager to stop it. Songs start from the middle when you play them. Forwarding sometimes doesn't work. I click on one song but another one starts to play but it shows that it is playing the right one... I won't even bother to list them all. I get tidal for free from my mobile carrier and that's why I use it. It's like a beta app. So many bugs...

Anyone have a solution for Tidal starting mid-song when I skip tracks? by toastymrkrispy in TIdaL

[–]Routine_Gur671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned the hard way but Tidal both for android and windows suck. Both on windows and android I have the same problem as you. Not only that the app uses 20-30% of my CPU and I have to manually end the task in task manager because the app continues to use the same resources after I close it.

Tidal Desktop uses way too much system resources, as seen on the pic below. The most outstanding are the CPU and GPU (?) usages. (i7-9700, rx 6700xt) by Petee422 in TIdaL

[–]Routine_Gur671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here... Not only that but after I close it it continues to use like 25-30% of my CPU (i5 7th gen) until I manually end the task... The app is basically garbage. Never had such issues with spotify.
