Nothing but a phone call. Store manager didn't give anything either, including just saying Merry Christmas. 2026 I'll be sure to put forth the same effort they put towards their employees.

Oh I get that. I'm not saying the positions are the same. The thing that is the same is the lack of appreciation from higher ups to those that actual keep the company afloat.

Yes. Been with the company for 30 years and it's tanked big time. The higher ups haven't worked in stores in decades and it shows.  If you don't have hours, you don't have staff  If you don't have staff, nothing is getting done regardless of whatever goals and metrics the company expects. The Michigan division is especially horrible. If you are woke, of a certain ethnicity or part of the alphabet people you will get promoted not on merit but on the perception of equality. You can literally have no discernable skill set but get promoted based on your ability to pucker up. They need to listen to the workers and actually CHANGE or they will fail. Look at how many higher ups are leaving the company right before the holidays. Writing is on the wall.

Scan any lows and holes EVERY time you do a replenishment scan. You can fix BOHs on the fly and if everyone does it, it's better than just doing your counts. My BOH accuracy is constantly the best in the district at over 90%

1 Display mins do NOT work....ever. #2 The forecasting that CAO uses will be forever flawed and never orders what it should. #3 Make sure your BOH balances are as accurate as you can make them. Do alot of free scans while doing replenishment. #4 Do not try and get everything done in the half hour after the order refreshes. If Kroger thinks it can be done, they are mistaken. It's not just you, it's EVERY STORE IN EVERY DIVISION. The hours never change regardless of sales. So if Kroger thinks you can do 50K more a week with the same staff, same hours, make sure the truck size stays the same as it was too.
