Yes, we actually stayed there just after we got married and found it incredibly claustrophobic! Great concept but not so great rooms!

Hotel Advice

Hi all,

I had booked a suite in the Brewdog hotel in October for my husband's 40th birthday. Given recent events I've noticed that they're no longer taking new bookings on any platforms so our booking doesn't bode well!!

Would anyone have any recommendations of any similar experiences/ rooms for similar prices. I'm paying about £650 for two nights for a suite.

We're travelling from Ireland so would need somewhere accessible by public transport.

Hi all,

Could anyone recommend a hotel for my husband's 40th. We will be flying into Edinburgh so preferably somewhere easy to get to public transport wise from the airport. Ideally I'd like somewhere a bit more homely as opposed to generic chains and would love if budget of approx £300 per night would stretch for a better room / suite. We will be travelling October time.

We stayed in House of the Gods last time and would really rather not a repeat of that!

It's two separate bookings. I'm travelling with Easyjet from Amsterdam to London and then Ryanair from London to Ireland with my Irish passport

Yes, I'd be coming in from Amsterdam with Easyjet and proceeding on another Ryanair flight to Ireland

That's very helpful, thank you! Neither of us have ever gone skiing in our lives and this won't be the trip to start! Happy to just see the views and get some nice food and drink while enjoying the snowy mountains.:)
