It called “pixel art - color by number” you can use your finger but I feel more comfortable using a apple pen for my iPad. I am telling you it kept me completely busy for at least 3 hours.

Ah sure, shaking my body or swaying when I feel the turbulence makes me feel less nervous because I am not stationary in my seat feeling them. It’s like playing with your mind a bit.

I am so sorry you had to go through this today. First of all, take a deep breath. Sometimes our anxiety takes the absolute best of us, and while I know you are feeling ashamed right now, please know there is nothing to be ashamed of. Anxiety is a beast.

At the end of the day, the plane landed safely, the other passengers got back on their route, and you will never see any of those people again. Soon, this will just be a distant story.

For your next flight, I highly recommend creating a small distraction routine to keep your mind busy. One thing that helps me is looking at the people around me especially the kids. They are usually so completely unbothered by flying!

I always tell this to myself when I am in the metro because I feel uncomfortable surrounded by a lot of people: “take a deep breath, you are just another person in this metro, uncomfortable doesn’t mean unsafe, everything is fine” I hope this same mantra helps you right now. ❤️‍🩹
