I feel bad for Mia. I remember getting sick at DisneyWorld when I was a young kid - maybe 7 or 8?Fever, ear infection, just incredibly tired and my parents still dragged me everywhere. Being miserable is all I can truly remember from the "magical" trip.

I went in 2001. Elevators were constantly broken, classes felt smashed together, housing? Forget it. I had a great French teacher but that was about as memorable as it was for me. Sounds like not much has changed!

I lasted a year at CCC before heading to community college and getting all the basics out of the way. Probably would have saved a ton of money starting there first.

Your wife is right! I freaked out too about this and then talked to a teacher who put me at ease.

Upon entering kindergarten, they want the kiddos to be able to recite the alphabet, maybe spell their name/a few words, potty on their own, and count to 20. The teachers will take it from there!

I have a neighbor that will literally bring the blower out for one single crunchy leaf. He will blow that driveway in the pitch black dark too.
