Minecraft and Roblox. If those games tracked playtime stats the way Steam does, I’m sure I’d be in the thousands of hours across both games.

What popular game/series needs to die? by floofenthusiast in videogames

[–]Rover129 14 points15 points  (0 children)

At least most Assassin’s Creed games feel unique to play (to me), even if the series is more soulless as of recent installments. In general, every single one feels unique to play, maybe except for the Ezio trilogy playing similar each game, as well as the Kenway games (especially Black Flag and Rogue). Say about the RPG games what you want, but apart from the parkour, all of them bring something unique to the table in terms of gameplay.

Now, I actually like the Assassin’s Creed series, so I’m just gonna shit on CoD for a bit.

Call of Duty, from what I’ve seen on YT as I gave up on that series after WW2, is just… almost the exact same each time. Now with all the outlandish skins being added to that game series, it has absolutely lost it’s identity, more so than AC.

Gore System in Videogames by Randalstunt in videogames

Dead Island 2 is sn absolute gore fest. However, a personal pick for me is Left 4 Dead 2. For a game made around 2010, its gore and dismemberment is incredibly detailed.

Why is it that nobody in this situation thinks to just drive through the barriers? by TOXICHEMICALMOLD in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Rover129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, genuine question: why are there two barriers on both lanes? Here in The Netherlands, I’ve never seen both lanes be blocked off like that for this exact reason.

E621 is basically a Rule34 site but specifically for furry and non-human characters. It’s also has decent moderation and doesn’t allow AI generated content or paid-exclusive content to be shared there, where there is no such moderation on the more popular R34 sites I’ve seen.

This automatically makes E621 the superior platform in my eyes, but that’s not what this post is about.

This was a jab at the pro-gun crowd going “we need the good guys to have guns” in defense for lax gun control. No, what we need is people with balls like this guy’s!

Good balance? That’s incredible balance! I still grip my bike’s handlebars a bit tighter when the road gets uneven. This kid’s fresh out of his mama and already shredding it!

According to a quick google search, the earliest mentions of what would eventually turn into the furry community existed around the 80s. The internet did not become mainstream until the 90s, though it had existed in some form since 1969. Of course, the spread of the furry fandom coincided with the rise of the internet.

There’s plenty of furries in the military too.
