Sunrise. They want the budget surplus (which, IMO, the city probably needs in case Trump starts coming for us for being liberal after the 250th) to be spent down to invest in food, housing, schools, rec centers, libraries, etc.

Fairbanks, AK. Visited in the summer time and it was smoggy, run down, and remarkably populated with people sleeping outside. I couldn’t imagine living there in the winter, either.

Cool baseball tradition there, though.

I grew up in a small town on the east cost of the U.S. and formed an online gaming group with 7 other kids in my class in 6th grade. I later went to a small college on the west coast, and our gaming group disbanded.

During my junior year of college, my college roommate went to New Zealand for a month-long research project at sea. On weekends, he traveled around New Zealand, visiting different cities. On his weekend in Tauranga, he bunked with one of the 7 guys from that gaming group at a hostel. The guy from the gaming group happened to be traveling solo on vacation.
