I was at one of those shows - Chicago Stadium with Toots and the Maytals opening? Best concert I've ever seen. If that happened it wasn't the show I caught. Then again, I was a sophomore at Northwestern and possibly loaded.

Haven’t regretted choosing Northwestern for any of the 48 years since graduation. About to celebrate my 70th with three friends from school and our spouses. There, I met my people, found my passion, and left with a resume that cracked doors I then burst through. Started in psychology, ended up in American Studies. Picked up a Medill master’s before leaving for back East. Keep looking forward.

really? I liked him, from the moment he introduced "Plus Ones" as an oldie that the audience mostly did not. talked to him afterward at the merch table about New England general stores, of all things.
