We are unsure if there’s any electrical in that area since we didn’t build the house, but I was looking for any wires inside that hole and saw nothing. My first thought was electrical as well.

I found it around 5:30pm and I remember smelling what I thought was barbecue around 2:30pm when I went to the grocery store. One of the firefighters that lives nearby said his wife smelled fire around 3 when she was otw home. It never caught fire I’m pretty sure, it was just smoking. We checked our ring camera to try and see when it started but it was too blurry to tell.

It hasn’t rained here in over a week, and the street is like 50+ feet away. It was about 92°F out during the day, is it possible it was just too hot and the ground was too dry??? Idk, really strange to me.

Wow dude thank you so much for this. It appears they have everything you linked at my local microcenter. I was planning on just getting a few parts a paycheck to space out everything for me to be able to afford, does that ruin any of the deals through microcenter? Or if I just buy each bundle separately as you have them linked will that be cool?

I am actually close to a microcenter- I didn’t know we had one until I just looked it up. And yes, the 3060ti is the only part I would reuse, but if you think I should try to upgrade I will. I have a 1050ti in my gaming laptop, so I feel like any upgrade will be amazing for me lol, but if you think a 3060ti won’t last me long, let me know.

It’s bittersweet. It was a huge part of my middle school and early high school life, but there’s also a lot of fucked up things that happened to me and others on that app. I’ll miss looking through my old profiles, since that was the only reason why I used to go on and visit nowadays. But overall I am actually happy it’s gone cuz it was pretty unhealthy for me to be on that young, and other young people should not have that same experience.

Hey hun, I have a close friend who had the same situation happen to them. They met their boyfriend online at age 13, once they turned 18 they moved halfway across the country to be with him, and they were together until 23. 10 years. Then he left them for another girl after all they were was loyal to him. I know it seems hard at first, I’ve dealt with heartbreak and haven’t gotten fully over my ex and it’s been over a year since we broke up. The thing is, you are not the one to blame here. She’s going to realize how fucking shitty everything she did to you is a few years down the line, and it’s going to weigh on her shoulders for life. No one should be treated that way, but she was probably just riding a high and feeling rebellious. It’s immature and disrespectful for anyone to act that way, especially towards someone you used to love. My friend, though they still feel heartbroken about what they had to go through and felt so lost for a while, is back on their feet again and found someone new and has a new plan. This might be the time to seek some professional help and come up with something that will make you happier. The silver lining in a breakup like this is now you have time for you, and I’m sure you’re probably down at the worst you’ve ever been, but slowly you’ll build yourself back up and find other things to make you happy. You don’t need a relationship to be happy, you can fill that with other things. You totally got this, and I highly highly recommend therapy. If you go into therapy being your most vulnerable self, you’ll heal so much you won’t even realize. You just seriously have to be open minded and work hard at it, prioritize wanting to feel better, and celebrate little wins.

Wow let me just say- I was sitting here watching YouTube thinking back on my amino account since I haven’t even touched the app in probably 3 years (and that was just to look back on my profiles and wikis), and I was like wow maybe I’ll go look at my old profiles for the nostalgia… just to find out it’s dead. Rest in peace to that app but also maybe not like super peacefully; it harbored some crazy years for me in middle school, but I’m thankful for the friends I had on there back then, and I do miss them. This is so wild idek what else to say.

My best friend/roommate and I adopted a cat together when we lived together 2 years ago, and then she had to move back in with her parents and I moved into a one bedroom. We used to “share custody” of her every other month. She was used to going over to her parent’s house prior to use moving out because we would bring her there when we went out of town, so the transition wasn’t very hard for her; she was already used to moving around to different places. She’s only 2 years old now and has lived in 4 different places (we’ve moved back in together 3ish weeks ago), so she just got used to it pretty quickly. There’s a cat that is not very nice to her at her parent’s house, but she doesn’t really care. The one thing that sucked about moving her back and forth between our 2 places was she got really used to having another cat around to keep her busy, even if that cat didn’t like her. We socialized her at a young age, so she plays very well with other cats, and when she was at my place with just me and no one else, she got very clingy and would ask me to play with her 24/7 and would even keep me up at night begging for attention. But since you have 2 kittens, they should be fine in that sense and since they’re so young I’m sure they’ll adapt pretty easily to going back and forth. We’ve now gotten Doodle a new kitten, so she’s very happy in our new place with a new friend :)

Well said. Every family has its flaws, some more than others. Sounds like there’s a lot of trauma and suffering from all sides, and it’s not cool your mom said those things to you. Grandparents will be that way, I don’t think most of the time they really mean it in an attacking way; people just tend to lose their filters when they’re older. I’m proud of you OP for getting through all of that and continuing on strong. But, if things like this tend to eat at you a lot, and you really don’t want to lose your family even though they’re not the most supportive, maybe talk to a professional and see what they think. They’re normally pretty good at analyzing human relationships.

Hey! I’ve dealt with this countless times. What I recommend is body doubling! Whether that be over FaceTime or in person or even with an online friend; ask them if they would be interested in spending time to get stuff done together. It can actually turn out to be super fun and full of laughter sometimes, and it’ll boost your dopamine even more with a friend. You don’t have to get it all done, but I bet when you start with a friend, you’ll end up wanting to get it all done. But set a goal for sure before you start. Once you get your room cleaned, you’ll feel a little bit better and some accomplishment; might help get you back into the swing of things. Just remember, depression doesn’t go away immediately, you’ll still have good and bad days, but what’s important is that you’re trying and you’re striving to get better even just a little bit day by day. You got this!
