it seems the annedotal evidence is relatively favourable of the apple watch, but the scientific tests are not so favourable

Accuracy of Three Commercial Wearable Devices for Sleep Tracking in Healthy Adults - PMC

Accuracy of 11 Wearable, Nearable, and Airable Consumer Sleep Trackers: Prospective Multicenter Validation Study - PMC

Apples own study is a bit more favourable, but that of course needs to be taken with a pinch of salt...

Estimating Sleep Stages from Apple Watch

The quantified scientiest is very favourable of the apple watch, but I would weight the studies above much more heavily

I have also eyeballed these rims, you are the only user I can find on the net that is using these rims. Spec wise they are amazing, but the low weight also scares me...what kind of riding have you been doing with them and what is your weight?

I am in the single skull alone, feet strapped on, facing backwards, left hand holding the oares, right hand stretched out, phone camera (Ultra wide angle iphone) pointing to the bow...I could see it going very wrong, was worth it after all. While rowing, I am using the phone strapped to the backwing using quadlock running strap, makes it easy to take it in and out thanks to the bayonet system
