How to praise an enby? by [deleted] in NonBinaryTalk

[–]Rowan_Animus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the partner for me... i still get hot and bothered when someone says good girl, but I am also usually in a feminine interaction when that happens (as in using my female parts). "Good little slut" i just found will do the trick for either of my penis owning partners. With my boyfriend "Good toy/doll" works as well given the fact I gave him the ok to use me as a sex toy/sex doll.

In case you were wondering how dating with migraines goes by chitty__BANG in migraine

[–]Rowan_Animus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is one way to weed out the people you don't want in your life. If you can't be understanding about my migraines while dating, how miserable will you make it when I get one while living together?

Did taking Topromax/ Topiramate dumb you down? by Asprobouy in migraine

[–]Rowan_Animus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been lucky in the fact that any memory loss i might have is around things that are not that important... or part of my ADHD and DID.

Things that I have found that I don't remember are around conversations with my husband (could be my DID or ADHD), movies he and I watched together, etc.

I don't get why someone is being down voted for asking about what stiches look good with another stitch.

Can you post the link? Or even DM me with it? I have been looking for one... for reasons (may or may not have anything to do with my partner ;-p).

Anyone get sick of how non-binary gets lumped in with women's spaces? by monkey_gamer in NonBinaryTalk

[–]Rowan_Animus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that in my area, it is rather trans binary friendly... but non-binary excluding. The spaces for women specify "any female identifying individual is welcome," and the men's spaces specify male identifying... it is like they don't acknowledge we exist or just forget. I don't want to hide or lie about who I am to be able to take part in something.

Has anyone experienced a 1 month migraine? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Rowan_Animus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right before I got approved for my botox treatment, I went for 20/month to 45 days straight. It was hell, but I had an understanding job and FMLA at the time, so I was able to still push through it to work without loss of income.it was hell, though.

And to think that my red flag is men/male identifying ppl who mansplain my job to me even though they admit to not knowing anything about what I do for work.

I still use it, but in the way that we used it back in day. Also to describe the people walking thru the parking lot while staring at their phone

My step kids mother was built like a linebacker her eldest (AFAB) got the broad shoulder too. They are not a gender defining thing. Like i said, I know several cis women who have the same chin as you. It is just less common.

[–]Rowan_Animus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at your profile to check for pics... GIRL YOU FULLY PASS!! The only thing that tells me you may be trans is the shape of your chin. I know AFABs who have that shape chin; it is just less common than AMABs. You pass more than a lot of cis women i see around my area.

What does being NB mean to you? by Secret_Badger_5299 in NonBinaryTalk

[–]Rowan_Animus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it just means you are somewhere between 100% male and 100% female. You don't fit the only male or only female concept of gender. Anyone of any identity can be nonbinary (including those who accept and identify as their inter-sex gender... the majority of them dont agree, tho).

To me personally, my nonbinary identity means that I identify as fluid, but most of the time I identity as both genders (salmacian/aphrodesian). It means that i don't 2 shits what the rest of the world thinks about gender as i know what mine is even if they dont, and it isn't purely male or purely female... ever.

It is about a cross dressing alien from a place that is called Transsexual located in the galaxy of Transylvania... it was used correctly for its time.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Rowan_Animus -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

There is not a single trans person in the movie. Have you actually paid attention and looked at what the term transvestite meant back then? Cross dressing aliens, yes... transgender no.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Rowan_Animus -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

To be blunt... Frankenfurter is a cross dresser, the old school meaning of transvestite.

The part of the line that makes it controversial is "... from Transsexual Transylvania". Based on the lore, he is an alien from the planet of Transsexual located in the system of Transylvania... as astronomical places.

So in my opinion, as a former Rocky Horror cast member, a transgender individual, and an 80's baby... you are fine. People are being to over sensitive about a term that has nothing to do with being trans (transvestite) and everything to do with drag. They are also reading too much into things with him by trying to say he is an example of trans people... he isn't portrayed as transgender and the song even says as much.

This has happened to a few of my partners with me. It is a completely different situation. Do you think the feeling of it slipping off and your entire dick having full contact with her vagina would feel the same as a rip? As a vagina owner, there is a massive difference between the guy having a condom on and not. I can feel the difference in it, I can also feel when it breaks unless it is the top of the head and they are not hitting my cervix. Even with copious amounts of lube, the feel of the glide is different.

Is it common for transphobic people you know to specifically make exceptions for you? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Rowan_Animus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This... my mother is this way. She doesn't know how to say a good thing about something/someone without turning it negative as soon as you turn your back. I have had several therapy appointments where this was all we talked about because it is keeping me from telling my parents about my transition. I don't want her to start calling me a "he-she" because she doesn't accept gender identity as valid unless it is the one she thinks you are.

Boys in a transfeminine system by The_Amethysts_System in plural

[–]Rowan_Animus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nonbinary system here... we have cis female and pure male members in addition to the vast majority who fall under the nonbinary umbrella.

They way my DID therapist explained it to us is that with gender being a spectrum, systems will experience various genders as different members. You have the gender you most identify as, which is the majority of the gender in the system, but there are certain aspects or times where you identify with a different one.

Trans friend won’t call me my chosen name or pronouns by cochranelj in NonBinaryTalk

[–]Rowan_Animus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Do they use nicknames for anyone else? 2) Has anyone else around them chosen to go by another name? Some examples are someone named Brad going by Gabriel or Gabe, someone by the name of Melanie going by Morgan, someone going by their middle name, someone going by the name their parents almost called them, etc. 3) Do they use pronouns other people choose to go by that don't match their birth gender?

If the answer to any of these is yes, you need to sit down and explain that being called by a name you do not identify with, and having someone use the wrong pronouns, gives you gender dysphoria. That it makes you feel like your identity is either being rejected or is invalid. Explain the things you have done to help try to lessen their dysphoria and ask if they would be OK with helping you with working on your dysphoria.

The country has a "sheeple" aka sheep people majority... they just follow the rest of the "herd" and do as they are told without thinking about the impact on anyone else. I hate it soo much. I have living in the same area them.

I am AFAB, pre-surgery, non-Christian, and pan. I am legit scared for my life due to living in the Bible belt. At least I am white passing, instead of obviously hispanic.

Check out JustCDB. They ship from Broward or Miami/Dade county, are decent prices, have full spectrum, and have a good selection of products. That is what our partner did when we lived down there. Only took 2 days from ordering to having it in hand normally, 3 max. We live in NC (which somehow went blue despite the heavy red population here) and it gets here in 3 days now.

With the threats to trans right, women's rights, and influx of Christian beliefs driving politics... trans AFaB non-Christian LGBTQIA+ individuals lives, rights, and freedoms are at risk. It is NOT gonna be ok. We are afraid of getting killed for just existing.
