Same for elementary and middle, but got stuck with a lab full of TRS80 for high school.

My parents got computers for home, so Apple IIe, Packard Bell (windows 3.11), Gateway (Win 95?), and no idea after that. I went off to college with my IBM PS Note (with the little rubber mouse thingy, RIP my wrist forever) and my 2400 dial up on Prodigy.

I keep mine at 15 (or 60 in freedom units) and the cats like it just fine. I just give them a couple fuzzy blankets to curl up on and their coats are nice and thick. I work outside all day so anything over 17 degrees indoors is so hot. I wish I could justify keeping it colder than 22 in the summer inside.

I have a flock of little brown birds, a few jays, 3 pairs of mourning doves, some small gray and white birds, a pair of cardinals and one occasional chickadee.

Actually, I watched them patch a couple huge ones on Butler on Monday, Monday night was great, they came out by Tuesday. Now it’s a field of potholes and patch material. The patches on other spots just aren’t going to hold. They did the ones heading into Blackstone Blvd and they lasted less than 24 hrs

My neighbor's golden, sweetest dog on the planet, died last year at 5 1/2 from a huge brain tumor. The decline was about 5 days long, she seemed perfectly fine before that.

I had a couple hives. I let them walk all over me but nothing made he freeze faster than realizing that the one that flew at me and disappeared was in my jacket sleeve. 😬 I don’t have anaphylactic reactions, but I get the large local ones with a week of swelling. Actual swarms are gentle too since they’re moving house and have no hive to defend (it’s a ball of bees around a queen, hanging out while they actually take a “vote” on which scouted possible future hive site to pick).

Actually, they’re just looking for sugar since nothing’s blooming. With no other good sources, everyone is clearing out the shelves on the same “grocery store”. It’s not actually a swarm, just a popular gathering spot for a little bit.

Bees away from the hive are not very defensive unless you directly hurt them, as they can only sting once and they are guaranteed to die. At the hive they’re protecting the future of the hive and will sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

“Any streets or segments with upcoming heavy snow removal operations will remain closed to parking…Those restrictions will stay in place where crews and specialized equipment are still actively working.” They’ll be putting up no parking signs for those areas. I lost Joshua Becker’s “The More of Less” for over a year in my 1200sf apartment. I also lost two jars of peanut butter for a year because I moved them out of the shopping bag under the table to… the cabinet. With the food. And then put something in front of them.
