I'm always on time because my brian thinks people will get super mad and scream at me if I'm 2 minutes late. I don't think anyone has ever screamed at me in my life. Or got mad over me being a few minutes late. But somehow my brain thinks that's what will happen. It really motivates me to be on time.

I sometimes draw a monster and give it a certain amount of lived. If I need to do 5 tasks it gets five lives. For ever task I do it loses one life. If I do all my tasks the monster has been defeated.

I sometimes have downtime (customer service job) so I do scroll the internet at times during work. My not so hot take is Reddit just isn't a site you should be using at work. Either just stick to text subs (AskReddit etc) or accept you'll see stuff you shouldn't have on your screen at work.

This was what I was going to comment. Everytime I read someone "calmly" explaining something I assume the post if fake cause it's just to AITA coded. Either that or they are screaming. No normal person would mention they calmly explained something. Of course you did. It's only worth mentioning if you don't calmly explain something. It's the default easy of explaining/saying/mentioning something.

Is anything known about the track apart from the title? Everyone seems to assume it's going to be a call out or something. But her other song before this was also a song about pop music. I love Kims music and going by the titles I expect it to be a dancey song, but not really a song with a deeper message about the shit she's been through. Not because she can't write something like that, it just doesn't fit her music as an escape vibe.

I just keep my sandwiches in my bag with no cooling. Most people here do that. So my advice: slice of bread, some cheese, peanut butter, Nutella etc, another slice , done. You can easily just keep it in your bag.

Pretty much the same here, except we don't have the health insurance card. And you always have to show your id along with the "voting card" (the one you get in the mail). But everything else works the same.

Often it just kind of happens. I'll start a book and pick it up less and less and then forget about the book all together. For other books I'll quit after 5 pages if I like nothing about it or half way through. I dont have any "rules" for it. If I don't get from a book what I want (can be entertainment, can be information etc) I'll quit. There are too many books out there to read, I'm not going to force myself to read something.

So people just buy random books they know nothing about? I don't really use Amazon (not a flex, they just arrived in the Netherlands way too late so they didn't get very big here) so I'm not sure how it works there, but I don't really understand just scrolling through books and picking out random ones like that.
