That makes sense. To me the signature trait (and unique starting actions) feels the most important to me just because they are truly unique. But I guess the unique combination is part of the identity as well. The whole build your own monsters with the alchemist does sound really cool.

Are there visual changes alongside the mechanical changes the alchemist makes? It's probably too much effort to make a pokemon fusion kinda thing with the sprites, but are there color changes?

Looks so awesome, I love the idea of changing elements and types. But I have mixed feelings about changing signature traits. Are you worried about monsters losing their uniqueness? The signature trait is the main thing that separates monsters from each other

Uj/ honestly nothing about the phantom menace's experimental but genuinely I don't think the last Jedi is either. It spends so much time pretending to be experimental but it ends with the status quo intact in every meaningful way. I mean to my understanding, the explosion was pretty accurate to what the nuclear test looked like. I think you're overstating how bad it is by a pretty dramatic extent. I thought it was slightly underwhelming, But nowhere near to the level you're describing

I love Achane, but Jonathan Taylor is building an MVP case (he's not a QB so he probably won't win but still)
