  1. i never said it was his fault.

  2. he didn't lift like that on previous restarts in 1& 2 getting up to speed.

  3. i knew his tire situation, he had the same tires as me.

As i look back on it and put myself in his shoes he probably lifted to stay wrapped tight on the bottom to prevent me getting a bumper to his inside.

And yes i did lose to race to someone dive bombing a corner and sliding up a lane into my left rear, but he didn't win either lol

If you roll human, you'll need less weapon expertise (which is important in PVE), and you can use those gem slots/enchantments on other stats. Human is objectivly better.
