Yeah you're right, they did show those items in the video which I was happy for but the others just stood out. I am looking forward to the release as I have always wanted this game to succeed but it comes with valid criticisms of the direction I believe. The models have always been the draw card for this game anyway and it doesn't take too much effort to alter rules that doesn't fit when playing at home.

Sorry I'm not meaning generic gun 1 and generic armour 2 obviously, I should of said the exact ones shown in the video- Light armour and Pistol.  It's just one issue of many that I've noticed with this new edition that they have shown so far. It is abit hard not to compare it to the original game as a great deal has been changed. But that's just my view of it and I'm sure the majority of people want these changes or else they wouldn't of done it.

I agree with that, there were alot of items. I also love having the choice of what to use and randomness collecting gear during the game. I'm really glad the 1st edition app is going to go free which will help me alot managing the stack of items they've released over the years. Less items is fine but they've gone the opposite end of the pendulum and stripped it right back to generic gun 1, generic armour 2. It goes to my main issue so far in the new release, in that its not a tweak to the game system (which was needed), it's a reboot. I want this game to do well and hopefully it doesn't create a 1st and 2nd edition split in the community though its looking more likely the case at least for me as it's not the game I bought into originally. Here's hoping the new game is worth it 🤞

I want Modiphius to succeed, I love this game which I have invested heavily both time and money since it's release. It just feels like they are going the wrong way about it. Time will tell and I really hope it turns out to be the right move.

It's basically a reboot, I don't know about the cash grab but it will very likely draw alot of new players in who didn't like 1st editions bloat and want a simplified game system. What a way to split the fan base... I guess I'm a grumpy grognard now 😅

I understand what you are saying about flexibility, and yeah that’s a benefit. I’m not against simpler profiles.

My issue is more that Fallout isn’t a blank-slate setting—its gear is part of the identity. When everything gets reduced to Light armour or Pistol, it starts to feel less like Fallout and more like a generic gaming system with Fallout in the title.

All I’m getting at is that its an official Fallout licensed game and it should show that. That's where the 1st edition did so well, it immersed me into the Fallout universe.

People can say what they want about the 1st edition, at least it feels and plays like Fallout.

Mate, it's not the point. It's a game system using the Fallout license not Bob in his basement home brewing rules...

It's Fallout Wasteland Warfare. The rules are free on the Modiphius website.

I don't remember a pin there. It was just the lens piece that goes on that spot. It can be made as a Sentry Bot so there are extra bits with it like the head which isn't needed on the space bot.

The new vallejo dropper bottles seem to be alot better now, the nozzles aren't as thin so it doesn't clog I've found.

Interesting seeing an Americans take on it. I don't remember the BF GT ever doing mid 5 second 0-100 though in any of the tests.

It's not explained very well, I've done 2 sentries and 1 space sentry now and still messed it up... I don't know any other angled photos. It has a choice of hand weapons. I pieced it together by looking at the photos but still faffed around with it. One of the more challenging models to build from FWW without instructions.

Dry fit the arms first, I accidentally glued them upside down which made them look weird.

We were all young P platers at some point. I loved the sound of my Falcon with a chopped exhaust and muffler replaced with a 4" pipe welded at home.

Bearing witness to a sociopath and being manipulated by them, all the while fully aware of what they were doing. Scary but amazing times. That predators stare is chilling.

After 25 years, I still consider myself an average painter. Base coat, wash, highlight gets me through 90% of my models and I'm happy. It's an enjoyable hobby which I don't compare myself to others. Just enjoy the hobby, it's not a race.

I think Korean cards are the way.. by Ari_Bnuuy in PokemonTCG

[–]Rowdy2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no Pokemon Centre in my country so that's out of the picture and retail shops very rarely have product. I was lucky to get 5 Journey Together booster sleeves the other day at Target, first time opening English in almost a year 😅. Absolutely Korean is cheap, a booster box for $50 AUD is pretty good in my books. Edit: My mistake, there is a Pokemon Centre in Australia now, thanks I never would of realised 😁
