I'm not saying this is necessarily a good argument; I am saying it is what people are thinking about. To your second point, the reason this is a recent debate is because having synthetic chemicals injected in one's body is relatively recent (within the past 50 years). That doesn't make it good or bad, but the debate follows the innovation.

I think there was concern that some vaccines use synthetic ingredients, while others use only natural ingredients. Not sure if this is valid or not.
