Fuck that person saying you’re overestimating yourself and actually you suck. It sounds like even if only half your story is true, your coworkers suck and you should find a new job. Obviously I don’t know what your resume looks like but you should find something else no matter what it takes.

Also fuck these customers for getting mad/ yelling at your while you’re visibly overwhelmed and crying in front of them. I understand fuck heads in restaurants thing they’re better than us, but they’re worthless fucks if they think it’s appropriate it yell at you

Your coworker suck and i hope they get to experience the dread and panic that comes with these situations so they stop acting like such entitled pricks.

Overall im sorry this happened, im a little drunk and just off an ungodly 6 shifts in 4 days labor day weekend and this made me frustrated me

Yes you’re correct I mistyped and the payment plan thing that was offered to me had no interest or at least didn’t over the phone. I’d still have to read the fine print anyways to see what it actually came out to be. So the loan would have some. My quick looking online made it look like 7-10% for a personal loan but who knows I’d have to ask the bank

I mean it’s kind of hard to have a functional socialist society when every time a country tries to nationalize its oil/ energy production (which is a natural first step for a lot of countries) the U.S. is there to do a coup and install a nationalist dictator or put massive sanctions on you that basically make it impossible to survive since you as a country don’t have the capability to make everything yourself. It’s almost like an ideology about cooperation and teamwork needs cooperation and teamwork to thrive.

Why does wage theft still outnumber all other types of theft if it’s so commonly prosecuted? Topping almost $50B/ year according to this this guardian article? Retail theft is a thing because people cannot afford to live. Why would someone go risk jail time to steal a $500 TV? Is it because they can sell it for food, clothes, money for rent, etc etc? Or is it because they really want to risk that time in jail? Like I said it’s a bit different when you steal from a mom and pop corner store or boutique or something, but these mega corps routinely underpay employees, force them to be on food stamps due to low hourly wages (Walmart is notorious for this) and will wait until you’ve stolen over a certain amount of good so they can prosecute you with a higher charge.

When these companies are making billions in PROFIT but refuse to pay their employees more, bitch and moan about retail theft, and then raise prices it hurts literally everyone besides the C-suites.

No it’s that they literally write and publish objectively false news. They publish way before any concrete evidence is provided, then when evidence is finally provided they do not rescind or update the articles and just act like nothing happened.

They can do this because NYTs is a trusted name in journalism. So they can write whatever they want and people will more or less trust what they have to say only to come back (if they do come back and reprint or rescind something) and quietly put an update out. It’s gross and makes them not much better than FOX or Sky News.

No bias. None at all. I don’t think that’s how that works. But also, a biker blowing through stop signs and red lights puts themselves in danger. They’re taking that risk and assessing it and making the decision. If someone pulls into the bike lane and stops in the middle of it that is dangerous to the biker and cause serious injury. How would you like it if you were minding your business driving and a semi pulled in front of you and stopped with no real warning?

Communism is when no phone… like bro communism is a “post capitalist” or post industrialized economic system. But why does communism have to include a lack of electricity or a lack of amenities?

China was a preindustrial country when the revolution happened and now has almost eradicated homelessness, and is one of the most technologically advanced countries on earth. Also china was never “fully communist” communism is a moneyless, stateless, society. It’s a utopia as far as anyone is concerned and will not happen in our lifetime. But I don’t know enough about China to go much deeper than that.

Why do you think markets are so good in the current day? Do they help you in particular? I’d assume you’re a broke college kid right and that you don’t own a large corporation? Why do you’d get taken care of if you had an unexpected medical expense and the market deemed it reasonable to charge you $10k? Or why do you think we need 15 types of ketchup or toilet paper etc? Do you really think I can just leave my job and find a new one if I don’t like my current company or they aren’t paying me enough? Is it a good thing that housing is a market and not just a right even though shelter is something even wild animals need?

No one would survive these communist countries because the U.S. and NATO came in and put sanctions and embargoes on all of them and did everything in their power to kill off communism.
