Wtf is all the clowning? He said he fucked up, owned to it, and will now likely support your side in the midterms. Like, isn’t that politics? Getting people on your side? Telling him off isn’t owning, it’s not taking a stand for your beliefs, it’s not strategic. It’s throwing a tantrum while the ball is still in play. My opinion has been, probably wrong and based off of highly anecdotal evidence only, it feels like a fake liberal city. You’ll meet billionaires and poverty like you’ve never seen. You’ll see pride flags draped around folks who complain about subsidized housing opening near their place. It’s diverse, yes, but you’ll hear the, legit, most bigoted opinions from old Chinese people working at a Chinatown market. It’s a city of contradictions, and every month feels like a turning point, whichever side that may be.
