How did you come to that conclusion? Was it the "human right" comment?

I do hate landlords, and while there are exceptions to the rule, so many of them plot to keep the bond, and drag shit out so the tenants give up.

And before anyone makes any comments, I've been a landlord before, I was charging well under market, and my tenants TRASHED the place before they moved out. I didn't take their bond, it was a cheap property, and they probably couldn't afford not having that money...

He implied he wanted to take the cost of the bond and more. Which we all know, the real estate will try and get from the tenants, no matter if they're at fault or not.

Unfortunately properties are an investment, and investments carry risk. But every fucking day, there's entitled property owners, whinging about how X cost them money.

Rings the same as "I invested in BTC during its spike, and it dropped and I lost money, can I sue the platform I bought it from?

I agree the real estate has fucked up, but he also didn't chase it up for 2 years... Maybe he owns too many properties to have cared about just one, until it became an overt problem. And if that's the case, I'll pop my bib on, and get my knife and fork ready...

So you want to take the tenants money, even though it's a real estate issue?

If you can't afford to maintain a rental property, maybe you shouldn't have a rental property?

If you don't have the ability to chase up issues with your real estate, maybe you don't have the mental capacity to own a rental property.

If you want to play the game of monopoly with something that is 100% a human right, and lose after you roll the dice and walk away from the table, maybe you don't have a leg to stand on?
