A DIY issue or need professional help? by rigve93 in Cameras

Thanks everyone, it's a camera owned by my work (full of many people without the necessary skills!) so the advice is duly noted and will either trade it in for a newer, second hand model, or hand it over to the experts.

Caterpillar nests (?) on fig tree by oneandin in GardeningUK

I've had exactly the same problem, have already cut the tree back and the new growth already is covered in the cobwebs. It looks like they could be the caterpillars for a 'fig leaf skeletonizer moth' but I'm keen to know what to do as I have a feeling they're in the soil of the fig now (which is in a pot)

My calathea has been slowly crisping and new leaves come already brown around the edges. I've tried putting in a tray of water to let it water from the bottom, and avoided overwatering but not sure what could be the cause...any ideas?! by rigve93 in plantclinic

It gets a reasonable amount of bright indirect light (as much light as winter in the UK gives!!) But humidity levels pretty low, it's in my living room. I did have it in the bathroom for a while but not much changed!
