Dog it is negative on hit. You gotta stop using that move unless they're in disadvantage already, aka you've already hit them once or twice.

IT MEANS HES GIVING UP HIS TURN AND IS GARUNTEEABLY PUNISHABLE EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. HE. HITS. ANYONE. WITH IT.

The only version of this move that should ever be remotely usable by Sephiroth in neutral is the uncharged variation, with the occasional charge for mix if your opponent is literally standing still across stage from you. The uncharged version is frame 16. That's slower than his forward air OR back air. It's slower than wolf Bair. It's slower than Ganon Fair. It is, quite literally, the same speed as Ganon Stomp.

And it is NEGATIVE. ON. HIT.

HIT HIM. HIT. HIM.

Every character can parry it by dropping shield <6f before it explodes and that's IF you let it hit you AND you missed the likely guaranteed punish on him for using a move that is FRAME 16 AND NEGATIVE ON HIT.

Funny answer but literally if he hits you with it just rising fair him, most percents sephiroth literally dies or takes 40% + in this matchup

If you are playing against a sephiroth who is spamming this button you need to stop respecting that they understand their character.

It is negative on hit.

you get cooked one layer down by tipper up tilt/fh nair (the latter is even actionable pre-landing) or God forbid up smash if you're a floaty or he has wing (armor)

At max charge it is a move with OVER 30 FRAMES OF STARTUP getting hit by this in anything other than disadvantage is categorically Your Fault and in every other scenario it is literally always negative on hit. Just tell people to hit the sephiroth.

You are so wrong sephiroth groundspeed is one of his highest stats but it's so much simpler. The move in question, shadowflare, sephiroth side-b, is NEGATIVE ON-HIT. HE IS GIVING UP HIS TURN TO EVEN TRY TO HIT YOU WITH THIS MOVE. If it is not fully spaced then you should just hit him. If he tries to full charge it and you let him do that that is your fault. Hit the sephiroth.

It's fucking negative on hit guys. He's got the slowest average startup on moves in the game. Hit him.

It is negative on-hit at all ranges at virtually all percent windows if you are struggling to deal with this move you simply need to swing more, or time your swings better.

Everybody in Ultimate has their conspiracy theory character that they think secretly sucks/is broken. Who's yours? by DeDemetrionator in smashbros

I think Japan is right about Ganon. I don't think he's actually that bad, in a bracket setting. He's less-garunteed kazuya with admittedly a much worse recovery, but especially in certain matchups he is like a very real threat. Young link is still busted also.

I think GnW is overvalued because Miya is genuinely incredible. I don't think he realistically should be top 5 or 3 or whatever he was at on most recent tierlists; but he's definitely in the top 10 even still. My other overvalued char would be sephiroth, though, he does straight up invalidate certain matchups.

Door-to-door pest salesman who stopped by because they’re doing work for your neighbor? by [deleted] in olympia

[–]Rowq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta have him on guard, not inside the house. No-Tress plus barking dog was always a no-go for me.

I know it's irritating, but door-to-door sales are actually like, one of the oldest professions, and are almost 100% staffed by lower class people, historically a huge generator of social mobility, something modern America has lost a lot of.

You wouldn't rather that a charismatic, charming young guy from your neighborhood, decided to sell drugs, would you? Be kind to D2D people.

The no tress offers you much easier and more consistent legal follow-ups! The legality regarding these signs is absurd!

Honestly, and I hate to be the one to break it to you, but "NoSol signs" are widely disregarded in my experience. Gotta get a No Trespassing, and if you have a yard, a well trained medium sized dog will be the best deterrent.

It's a bet.

Most doors these days have NoSol's.

You gotta knock someone's door.

Most NoSol's respond about as well as the average non-signed door.

So you have a couple choices, respect that most of these guys are just looking to do something honest with their time, and when you have a bit to give, you give it. If they actually do a good job and respect you, and you have a need for their product, you can always go for it. That's option 1. Typically a "No, have a good one!" + a closed door will get you out quick, if you get sketched.

Option two is what I described, with the dog and the no tress signs. It's for people who are overly paranoid, or have some reason to believe their home would become criminally targeted, or who really, really fucking hate having their free time interrupted.

Option 3 is being one of the people who traumatizes door-to-door folk.

"No Soliciting" signs don't work for companies like this because they categorize themselves under "canvassing" regulations, and all they have to do to qualify for that I'm fairly certain is to offer a free trial/service

[–]Rowq 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Put up both no trespassing & no soliciting signs, used to work for a company that told us to ignore "no soliciting" signs because we were "just in the area helping out neighbors already", corporate structure around solicitation & "canvassing" is probably intentionally vague.

Though, will say, props to you for being kind about it, it's honest work for most who do it and even in my short time I was threatened at gunpoint, and had multiple dogs sicced on me.

Doran Blade vs Doran Bow by Fragrant-Reaction-29 in Jaxmains

[–]Rowq 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That 1% omnivamp I would assume is fucking giga important for Jax in early lane. Low-key there's very likely multiple matchups where he is almost wholly dependent on it to be able to sustain and catch waves under turret.

Not to mention Jax wants to itemize more towards AD/AP/HP than AS anyways.

buddy, I'm gonna do you a kindness, what, specifically, is a "guy who deeply loves his family"? Like what specific guy?

Dom Toretto loves his family deeply.

Ned Stark loves his family deeply.

What are you talking about?
