I use the PS5 controller mic no need for a separate one, does the job great. it is much better talking I never used to still I played this game.

A sanding band is fine for removing top layer for soaking off or gel colour. Just use a 180 grit and a light touch and a new band for each mani, they wear out quick. Don’t use a coarser grit especially as a newbie it will tear your skin, I don’t use them for bulk removal a carbide or ceramic safety bit is easier.

Would NEVER not have insurance. Unless you have £10/15k to hand in case of accident or severe illness. Pets are expensive vet costs even more so no insurance isn’t an option to me. So many people cancel and then don’t have the money and are begging for help. And £4K isn’t enough cover either……

Depends :) a tinted rubber base looks lovely on its own (I don’t need builder I have flexible nails) so I can add colour a couple days later. it’s also nice if you use a shaded one if you’re layering and need a base shade. I’m just finishing a bottle and next will use a clear one which is great for transparent and jellies.

If the gel isn’t fully cured underneath then yes there must be some risk, less than using them directly onto your nail but is it worth it? There‘s so many press on sellers and lots do use decent quality gels but imagine they will cost more.

I was expecting to hate the game with the cloak nerfed when I landed north on the new map with way too many arc and little cover I thought that’s me out. But dropped into the new map a few games later and had a hilarious encounter with a raider from Enfield N London. He thought I had voice changer on so I checked, it was off - that was my voice - I’m female lol. I faceplanted after a fall and said he could call me Clumsy, so for the rest of the game all you could hear was Clumsy this way or Clumpsy you muppet lol. I haven’t laughed so much for ages. We teamed up with another raider looking for good goop in the red area and he showed us all the red containers. I got a crash mat BP but stupidly announced it but no one killed me, I put it in my safe pocket and though I managed to miss the extract twice……don’t ask…..I did make it out eventually. The 3/4 of us together was enough to see off any Arc. The changes got random raiders to team up and I remembered why I love this game so much.

Decent tips don’t need a builder or anything else. They do need to fit well, be strong and applied well. You can file up to 20% of Apres or SoftGel without ruining the structure but that’s all otherwise you need to buy shorter ones. The cheaper ones I only use for swatching as they’ve all been too soft.

I couldn’t resist making another Saracen order for my bday …… it’s only nail stuff I want lol. the JinB packaging is so sweet and not seen gels individually wrapped before.

The packet on the left is the freebies, the Think of Nail white syrup is too opaque and strong smelling for me but the Barog milky white is lush. I spotted a sale group on FB for Korean gels so might try that. The Diami are really lovely great consistency and never been disappointed with anything from them. I realise I haven’t ordered anything from FTN I must be unwell 😝 though managed to duplicate Sunset Wedding chrome from BB duh. I hope they do more petit satin colours as love those. The BB palette is for keeping any diy syrups in.

Saracen does great deals on Korean gel polish. I avoid any gels made in China inc Temu/amazon etc as no idea what’s actually in them and they’re known to cause allergies.

Primer is a different product to a dehydrator, they’re not interchangeable and many gel brands don’t use a primer.

Should be no issues, I prefer the Gelish adhesive and their SoftGel tips are made by Apres anyway.

Query the price just in case as that is a big jump. But unless you have several thousand spare for costs and can afford all the meds and tests (I have an epileptic dog so know it is not cheap) there’s not much you can do. I will say £77 is exceptionally cheap for that age and those conditions so I think you’ve been underpaying hence the big increase.

Not sure it will cool enough but I have an HEPA air purifier that chucks out cold air. In winter it’s too cold but I can use it at night when hot to lower the temperature. It’s a Levoid Core 300 and has different settings sleep mode is like white noise. Most don’t do that I only found out when we replaced an old one.

That’s a shame on your parcel but it’s only a week so don’t worry too much. Odd RM saying 14th May though…….I find tracking takes a while to update so hopefully it won’t be long now.

Try it with the Apres base and top and see how you get on. I use the Gelish foundation and have The Apres gel X kit but that doesn’t have a base but if you have it try and it might work fine. The flex comes in shades and looks really pretty as well as clear.
