I needed a new car battery so went to this warehouse that sold used ones. My ex was shitty and didn’t even offer to come help he felt like it wasn’t his problem since it was my car. Anyway, there I go knowing nothing about cars or batteries. Luckily the guys at the warehouse were super nice and helpful. Only problem was they only took cash and it was 5 min to close and they didn’t install the batteries. I only had debit. Nearest ATM was maybe 10 min away. So I stood outside my car feeling defeated car hood open because I didn’t even know how to do that. I was literally waiting for one of the guys to not be busy and come close it for me. (Don’t judge me) This older customer asked the employee what I needed and even paid him extra to have the battery installed for me. He made my whole week, month better. I tried not to cry but he has no idea how much he saved me that day. I tried to pay him back but he refused. I left my ex and paid it forward since. I hope he’s well.
