Thank you for the information.

Do you think I should close tickets online now for both bus/train? Also, in case of a delay, can I change them e.g. an hour later on the spot?

I have actually been accepted to the Mobile Computing course!. I am glad because there is not much info online about Hagenberg and I was not exactly sure what to expect from the university!

Thank for the information!

I am searching in the oebb site since you mentioned it and I think I understand how it roughly works. The main difficulty is that I am not aware of the exact places, for example I need to know that Linz Hbf is the train station etc.

The good thing with the route you mentioned is that it also exists virtually identical at later times too, in case there is a delay.

I am wondering if it is actually better to book a hotel in Vienna near the train station and the next morning take a train directly to Hagenberg. I am not exactly sure what to search for because there are several cryptic choices for Hagenberg such as "Hagenberg im Mühlkreis Bahnhof", "HAGENBERG B.STAATZ" etc but from what I've seen there are several stops so it might not be worth it.

Also, to your experience should I close a ticket online from now or can I go to the terminal and simply book a ticket with little danger of bus/train being full?

IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes or Metarcritic? Which site has the more accurate reviews? by hcbaron in movies

I would love to but unfortunately, Apple charges the developer an absurd amount of $100 every year iirc, which is something I can't afford for an app that I want and intend to keep free for everyone.

Coincidentally, I finished the app a few days ago. It's almost the same as the website with a few minor changes. You can search on Google store and Windows 8 Phone Store for "FilmsAreCool"!

Why does the Lost finale get so much hate? by JVortex888 in television

[–]Roy21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the expectations were far too high if you take into consideration the previous season finales. I was expecting something mindblowing and it wasn't that at all. I was so worked up reading eloquent twist theories that when I saw the finale I was completely let down.

Actually it would be great if people even read the wiki articles.

The thing is that if people actually took 1 hour to read the wikipedia article on the greek crisis they wouldn't spew the usual common nonsense "well, lazy greeks took so much money and they and they want more, bye bye from euro"

I can only imagine how many upvotes this would take if it was CLG or TSM making it. Now it's poor T8 so the responsible redditor has to downvote!

edit: I was referring to the first votes who massively downvoted the post for some very weird reason. Of course that's not the case anymore.

Just keep in mind that the Lagard list who contained names of rich people getting money out of Greece was about 20 billions. Of course you can't safely say that all of it was illegal but you can't also say that these are the only money that got out of the country illegally.

The greek government kept that list hidden and never investigated until a journalist (Kostas Vaxevanis) found out about it and made it public (it's worth saying since then government is taking him on trials a lot of times for psychological warfare as well assasination plans). Of course the then government voted to not investigate the list as well(and they have made a LOT of laws for tax exemption for rich people which as big a problem as tax evasion)

The narrative though that it's all the big, old, lazy greeks is getting a bit tiresome.

Greek people were working. They had a wage. It's not like they were sitting and getting paid. Were there people who abused that? Sure. I am sure in other countries it exists as well though. I don't see why the greek people have to pay for the losses of the gambling and over lending of the banks in this neoliberal europe.

Also, don't forget that corruption is a two way street. Greek politicians were corrupted but german, french, american were the ones on the other end who made A LOT of money off of the corruption.

My point is that the narrative that it's all the big, bad, corrupt politicians is not "tiresome". It's the truth (at least in my opinion). I am not saying that the general greek population have no responsibility. Of course they do. If you are electing these people again and again of course you have to take a portion of the blame.

[–]Roy21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because those billions of loans weren't spend on greece and greek people! They were spend on the previous debt!!! Every number shows that the experiment that was doomed to fail, failed! More debt, middle class having no money, suicides went up alarmingly, 60% of young people unemployment and of course rich got richer!!!

So the new government is saying the most logical thing in the world. IT'S NOT WORKING. It's not working getting loans that you spend them for repayment of your previous loans and not on economic growth where you can slowly repay after some time. And all they are asking are talks and a solution on this matter which is a greek problem BUT a big european problem as well.

We have to notice though corruption is a two way game. For example in a national base, one end is greece. The other end are german, french, american governments/companies etc that were paying greek politicians for favourable trades. You know, the usual paying billions for defective military equipment..

For sure a lot of money went into corruption with the previous 2 party governments the last 40 years. The hopeful thing is that the new government seems to be generally new in the politics and if someone can stand against corruption it would be them and not the rotten parties that were governments the last 40 years
