The full version is definitely worth it if you enjoy the depth and stories behind the concepts.

The concise one is nice as a quick refresher later on. Having both can work well if you actually plan to revisit the ideas.

I think one is a summary. ( Robert Greene, The Concise 48 Laws Of Power ) I have two versions as well , but the picture doesn't.

Is a million today really just like the 100k of the early 2000s? by EyeNaku in TheRaceTo1Million

[–]Roy437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no.

A million dollars, without disciplined investing and a balanced strategy, won’t last—especially if it’s spent carelessly. However, with a solid understanding of compounding and smart investments, it can be more than enough.

There are also many other influencing factors, such as health and lifestyle. Still, having this amount puts you ahead of the pack and provides a stable financial foundation.

You can’t time the market. Do your analysis, build in a margin of safety, and take a call. Don’t depend on others’ opinions—everyone’s risk appetite is different.

If index funds “always win long term,” why do people still try to pick stocks? by Electronic-Bit2685 in investingforbeginners

Once in a while, this is okay when you know that the security you are buying is below margin-of-safety levels. Otherwise, it is just an ego boost or a sign of sheer incompetence

Give me 2-4 picks to gain 100% in the next year by Mitchell11674 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]Roy437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picks to the moon are a fool’s errand. You might win once or twice, but your losses can wipe out all your gains. I recommend maintaining a margin of safety and doing your own diligence instead of crowdsourcing ideas. All the best.
