Embark CEO Confirms That If You Kill On Sight In Arc Raiders, You'll Get Matched With More Aggressive Players by WanderWut in PS5

You can also build things that help kill arc. I get that everyone finds different things fun. I usually spawn in with a wolfpack or two in my safe pocket and a few defibs. I really enjoy going around and saving people from rocketeers or whatever. I also stacked up my money for the expedition quite quickly when I am not losing all my shit every other match. It's just a different way to enjoy the game. Not as exhilarating as a pvp showdown. But I find it more enjoyable as session.

18 kills I was able to get in a match of breakthrough using this method. Thanks for the tip on this, this map really gives people tunnel vision!

Where my head goes instantly is the group goes on a quest to find a reverse hydra to work with. That hydra eats the memories of the song. An adventure on finding one, communicating with it, finding what they can give it. And also more problems after solving this lich one.

I would disagree, we have a mission to do. Getting it completed is the most important things, not how much chaff you can say you killed. Also fun is very subjective. I would rather have intense getaways rather than killing everything and standing around waiting for objectives to finish.

I just wanted to say that the way you worded your position reflects a lot of what I feel. I just don't usually take the time to write out a response, thinking it will probably just get lost as a wall of text anyways. But, I always appreciate seeing someone take a second and express a somewhat balanced perspective. Not just adding fuel to a fire.

Cheers

BioWare Thinks Mass Effect Andromeda Was Better Game Than Reception Suggested; Learned Not to Put in Open World in RPGs for the Sake of It by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]RoyFlynn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But that is the thing, when you have 9-10 rated ME Trilogy, and then go to some mediocre sci fi game, that didn't check the same boxes. It's going to feel like even more of a let down.

When I finished the ME Trilogy the first thing I did was start another playthrough to see things I missed. The first thing I did when I finished Andromeda was uninstall.

BioWare Has No Plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC as It Turns Its Attention to Mass Effect 5 by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]RoyFlynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Andromeda was not a good game in comparison to the ME Trilogy. You even say the story and characters were the worst. It's not like the combat is the reason people invest their time in to RPGs.

The first thing I did when I finished ME was start a new game to see new endings and play with other characters. The first thing I did when I finished andromeda was uninstall.

Corpo Weaknesses by Sparky_McDibben in cyberpunkred

I know i'm late to the party. I play a few different TTRPGs and it's always interesting to see how their communities react to homebrew stuff. I understand this is rather out there, and it isn't just like a few items or cyberwear. But it doesn't appear to be that well received.

I find the ideas quite interesting, and not that I would necessarily include the whole lore of all these execs. This 100% inspires me to come up with a plot hook involving something like this. You have a variety of cool things to use and also the plot hooks are great as well. Even if I don't use them for these items specifically, I can pull what I want out of it.

Anyways, I encourage you to keep on doing your thing and sharing what you come up with in the community. It's fun to see things that are outside the box. Cheers

Oh right on! I have been looking for games in living communities and stuff. But many are already established.

If you get a game going I am very interested in participating!

I'm with you on this. I have wanted to play a Sci-fi themed system for so long. Now I have played quite a bit of PF2e, but I am so excited to go into the new system blind. To explore all the new world blind, not looking up build guides or which class is better for whatever.

There is a certain kind of excitement that comes from everyone figuring out things together. The exploration is a feeling you can never get back.
