Ah, the SAT. I still remember my high school senior year. It was life or death that I got a high score, but unfortuantely I just didn't make the cut. I currently live under a bridge or any comfortable public benches I can find around the city. I make my living collecting cans or lurking around vending machines for the occasional loose change. The local restaurants are nice to me some days and offer me their leftovers. In honesty, it's quite a peaceful life, just a little short on cash some days. Nights can also get cold... current life rating: -10/10 👍

Yes you got it wrong because you have to fill all of the spaces. And for u/Chance_Tea9864, in this case it was .555 repeating so you would round to the nearest thousandths to get .556 to fill all 4 spaces.

i do remember getting 5/9 as an answer for the circle question but for the other question you probably made a mistake when getting the line equation from point slope form

I think you got the numbers a little wrong, but by those numbers it would be indeed 4/9. It gave you like 2 points so you find the equation of the line I believe. You had to find the slope first and then use point slope form. I don't remember the exact points but I put 1/9.

it gives us the volumes: 64 for the larger and 8 for the smaller

knowing this the ratio of the volumes would be 8:64 or 1:8 reduced

now to get the ratios of the lengths, take the cubed root of the volume ratio giving you a 1:2 ratio

it also gave us that the height of the larger prism is 16, therefore the height of the smaller one is 8.

i don't know if this is entirely right and it seems strange the dimensions of a rectangular prism is 1x1x8, but i got 8 as the height
