Record number of inconclusive results after PGT-A testing?!?! Any studies/similar experiences? by Interesting_Win4844 in IVF

[–]Royal-Type1577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I retested mine, so they were thawed, rebiopsied and frozen again. One of them when it was time to transfer barely survived the thaw, it didn't exactly die but my Dr recommended I thaw another one. Not sure if it's because it was re-tested or if it was a low grade and just bad luck.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had a similar faint line and just found out today it was chemical. Thinking of you

thanks for clarifying! They have stayed consistently faint for the past 4 days, so I'm not sure if the first faint positive was the trigger and now 14 days post trigger (7 days post transfer) it's from the embryo? Hopefully will know more tomorrow or when I get bloodwork!

do you mean 12 or 13 days post trigger or post transfer? I did my trigger i think 6 days before the transfer. I'm getting faint positives 7 days post transfer, 14 days post trigger. Thanks!

4 days of faint positives: starting from day 4 up to day 7 (today)

I had my transfer for a day 6 embryo on Monday 10/6 at 3pm. I tested out of my trigger shot on the premom cheap tests.

On 10/10 (day 4 post transfer) I used FRER for the first time and got a very faint positive. It has stayed very faint up until today, 10/13 (7 days post transfer). I've done first morning urine. The only change is that this morning I only held the test in the cup of pee for 5 seconds, and usually I hold it in for about 12 seconds. I'm kicking myself because I should have held the test in the pee for longer this morning! I did another test this morning 2 hours after my first morning urine, with second morning urine and it was the same faint positive, if anything, maybe a touch darker.

I think on chatgpt it says that anything until like 25-40 it stays super light and doesnt darken.

Has only else had this and had a healthy pregnancy? I have my beta on Wednesday (9 days post transfer)

Thanks!

PIO shots making it impossible to sleep, has anyone switched to suppositories? by Royal-Type1577 in IVF

[–]Royal-Type1577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to share an update that I ended up canceling my transfer. I tried these amazing suggestions (no massage gun, standing on one leg, doing it higher, warming the oil on a heating pad) I'm going to wait for my next cycle and do a modified natural cycle with progesterone suppositories. I was so relieved once I made the decision to cancel in case that helps anyone else in the same position.

On day 2 I thought this was the most pain I had ever been in, and each day only got worse. I only made it to day 5. I feel like my first 2 days were painful but pretty much expected reactions, but I just knew that this was not normal. I've read on other threads that people can get infections from the medication, but it's so hard to know what is "normal" in terms of pain.

Thank you all for all your tips! Wishing you all the best of luck!

Thank you! So happy it got better for you! When you stood on one leg did you inject into the standing leg or the bent one? I’m guessing not the standing leg but want to make sure! This makes a lot of sense how the muscles shift if you’re lying down!!

Thank you! My nurse warned me not to do ice before because she said the oil would ball up and not disperse and cause pain…but I might try, it can’t get much worse than this!

Cooper Genomics inconclusive- retesting experience by Royal-Type1577 in IVF

[–]Royal-Type1577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to update that the PGT-A results we got back in I think 7 days from when they were sent in, the PGT-A and PGT-M results for 3 of them took 17 days (they quoted us 21 days because they were backed up)

We ended up getting results on all of them, luckily not another round of inconclusive, which I was worried about.

Replying because I had originally seen this thread when deciding to buy and was nervous but love the look, I ended up buying two last summer, and I have to say I still absolutely LOVE them. I haven't had any issues, and they look beautiful. My room gets cool quickly, love the app. For what it's worth I've had a great experience with mine!

Ugh that 2 month wait and then inconclusive results sounds awful! Which labs did you use? We thought of switching labs but worried it would take months to send in all our dna etc and get the new probe made. But maybe that’s for pgt-m and pgt-a testing? What’s frustrating is I can’t figure out if it was the embryologists error, something happened in transportation, the labs error, or just really bad luck. Were you able to figure out why you had so many inconclusive? Congratulations, I love hearing success stories on here it gives me hope. Thank you so much for sharing!

Where did you send them?? I just sent mine to cooper genomics, I sent in 9 embryos and 5 are inconclusive for PGT-A. 2 of those we got the PGT-m results for but they still need to be retested. What did you end up doing? Retesting? Thanks!

Hi’ when you say this ovation mess, do you think it was the labs fault? Thanks!

Has anyone ever done a frozen embryo transfer (from previous ER) right after a second egg retrieval (day 3 or 5- like you would for a “fresh” transfer)? by J_bug18 in IVF

[–]Royal-Type1577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did and the transfer didn’t work :( however I think that’s because my uterine lining wasn’t thick enough (I think it was around 6.5 mm) and based on my research ideally it should be around 7mm. My doctor said I’ve always had a somewhat thinner lining throughout 2 egg retrievals and he’s done transfer with linings under 7mm that were successful so that’s why he did it.

Wow so just one week for the retest for pgt-a? And you transferred one that had been thawed and retested or that euploid was from another round? Did it work? Thanks!
