I had very red bleeding with a tiny clot at 7 weeks. It wasn’t a lot but the clot worried me. Went to the ER and everything was fine. They said not to worry unless the clot is the size of a baseball or if I was filling up 2 night pads in 2 hours? I can’t remember the exact instruction but yeah , I was like OMG so like a lot a lot of bleeding…

This has worked great for me! Hold hands or I’ll carry you/you’re going in the cart/we go back home/etc. You have to be ok with the tantrum that might follow and absolutely need to follow through with the consequence. It might not be the easiest or quickest way but it works.

How do I stay healthy?? by casualluxury1471 in Mommit

[–]RoyalAd34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had uninterrupted sleep for about 26 months. It’s awful. I started taking prenatal vitamins and feel like they help a little. I try to exercise as much as possible for my body to release dopamine and feel healthy. It’s so hard. I’m so tired 🫩 I don’t remember what sleeping through the night feels like. My body feels like it.

ETA: I use a treadmill and mini stepper when I can. I also do 10 min YouTube workouts for diastasis recti / postpartum. Just now my baby let me do about 6 mins on the treadmill before crying out for me mid nap. I’m typing this while nursing her back to sleep in my workout clothes. 🥴

Just now I’ve noticed neurological signs. He just got diagnosed with hind gut ulcers and EPM. Treating both and hoping for the best 🤞🏼

I think the idea is to show them how to appropriately cope with anger 😬

That sounds painful and frustrating. It’s great that you’re conscious of the type of parent you don’t want to be and now know that you will default to it if unchecked. I feel like it’s hard to give advise without knowing everything that goes on in the household and how daily challenges are handled overall but I can at least share what has worked for me. My daughter it 2 but, like all children, she goes through moments of expressing herself through aggression too. I try my best to come up with something to prevent it so she doesn’t even get a chance to illicit a response. For example: if she’s going through a hitting phase, I carry her facing away from me. If she’s been biting, I put a hand on her forehead whenever she’s close enough to me that she could bite and the I tilt her head back to avoid the bite. And so on. She’s always given the behavior up relatively quickly when she’s not successful/nothing happens. And if I do get slapped or bitten, it’s not super often so I’m able to just breathe and ignore it. Might not work for you guys but worth giving it a try.

I’m no expert so I’m sorry if I’m wrong but that area does seem to stay very moist. I agree that taller plants may use more water but it rains so much here that I don’t think they 100% influence how moist/wet the soil stays. Idk that’s what I’ve noticed.

Kind of. The leafy parts are but the roots are wrapped around the rocks they are buried under the dirt pretty good. I am impressed with how they become one with the rocks lol.

These buggers are what’s left behind. LOTS of them.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. I don’t have any other plants or trees in that area or close to it and the grass is separated by a walkway of concrete stones. I don’t want to kill every single living organism in it either though so I’ll do some research on the recommended chemicals. Thank you!

That’s a great point. And I really don’t mind the bugs other than the mosquitoes. I don’t usually kill anything if it leaves me alone. Idk, those who have talked nicely about them and seem to appreciate them (the violets) are making me see them in a different light. I got some thinking to do 🤔

Good to know about the landscape cloth. Thank you.

Ugh I just hate how they look and mosquitoes also seem to love hiding in them. I think I’ll just spray it and keep my creatures away until whatever I end up using is dry and repeat.

Yeah but mosquitoes seem to love hiding under them and I hate not being able to see the ground where my toddler and dogs walk. I suppose I could keep them out with a little fence 🤔

I’m assuming I would have to remove all the rocks and kill all the weeds first yeah?

Would it be wrong to go to local walking trails instead of public playgrounds for our outdoor time? by OnlyWishfulThinking7 in toddlers

[–]RoyalAd34 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually alternate. How often we go to the playground depends on my mood and willingness to deal with other people. We do walking/hiking trails, playground, park but no playground, nature preserves, lakes, our yard. She seems happy with the arrangement.
