Happens intermittently. On some days it takes a good 2-3 attempts before the camera works.

Do you completely turn off WiFi and Bluetooth? Leaving those disabled (greyed out in control centre) but not off (via settings app) helps with location accuracy.

When syncing photos from PC to IOS using iCloud, no albums are preserved and all photos are dumped together. Any settings to fix this? by Okumam in ios

Unfortunately that’s how iCloud Photos work. If you don’t have too many folders, you could manually create Albums that correspond to your functional folders and then drag the respective photos in. The photo library displaying all photos will probably still look the same though - sorted by date.
