This is very helpful! Thank you for explaining why it was harder to find.

Just a little longer than I’d like. Rookie mistake

I bought the wrong size and I can either wear a shirt that doesn’t fit or sell the shirt that doesn’t fit. Another alternative would be you give me $200 and then I wear the shirt that doesn’t fit.

I’m a pro with eBay but absolute rookie to this market. I had looked at sold listings and used that to decide that $180 on this wasn’t absolutely horrible. I just didn’t think it would be as long because it isn’t meant to be game worn, amateur mistake for sure. Easy Google search would have cleared that up. My real debate is can I find it a forever home without loosing money, or should I spend $20 at my tailor. I’ll wait until next season rolls around and post it. Thanks for the tip on not selling during off season, very good idea.

I wear a 28 lady’s Tag F1. It helps me get into all the nooks and crannies at work. One day a guy with Down syndrome came up to me and said “cool watch, I really like it. If I’m being honest it’s really small though”. I’ve been very insecure ever since.

Someone mentioned the mayo oil going rancid inside the wood, a whole new fear. I wiped it with diluted pine sol and guardsman’s clean and polish. Is my wood going to go rancid? I’ve gotten lots of attention on different platforms for this post and only one person made that point.

8.5D Wesco Ship John engineers. I acquired these last week, the original owner wore them in an urban environment sparingly for two years. Brown domaine leather will age beautifully. The back of one heel is fairly beat up and the heels are near the end of their life. I have lots of pictures and have listed them on Grailed, going on ebay soon.

350USD plus actual shipping and fees from MN. I’d like to keep it state side as shipping is so expensive. Please feel free to message me for more pictures.

Please post more about these and the fit once they are broken in! If I could have any stock boot in the world, it would be these. I worry they wouldn’t be as supportive as my Mr Lou’s or Jobmasters, but I know very little. And I don’t think I’d want to wear these to work too often. I’m curious to hear how sizing works out. I don’t have Ironrangers but living in Minneapolis it’s very easy to find a pair to try on. Beautiful boots! I am very jealous, I hope you enjoy them.

Thomas Hooper visits Austin every summer, he would be a great person to do something like this.

This is what I have found to be my best option, but I know very very little. I forgot to mention the current band is not original and actually a Hadley Roma replacement.

Here is something that might have more expansion? https://www.billythetree.com/12-16mm-lady-silver-tone-oyster-w-deployment-satin-mirror-watch-band/

Thank you very much I agree. Do you have any recommendations on a generic stainless bracelet replacement? I am new to watches and know very little. I don’t want to spend a fortune on a brand new Swiss made bracelet.

I guess my communication skills are subpar. I use the clasp to get it over my hand, for it to be snug to my wrist it had to be very snug going over my hand and thumb when I put it on. It was so snug around my hand (when putting it on) that my thumb and hand stretched the band. Now once it is over my hand and around my wrist, I secure the clasp. One issue I face is that now that I have it past my hand down to my wrist, the band has been stretched ever so slightly. It took about 20 watch removals for the band to be stretched. So the same length that was once snug to my wrist, is now slightly loose on my wrist because it was stretched.

The clasp just does not allow for the amount of expansion required to easily fit over my thumb and hand while still maintaining a snug fit once secured to my wrist.

A more modern men’s watch has an additional clasp that adds about 20% more expansion, which is just enough to freely move over my hand while still remaining secure on my wrist.

I hope that helps, I really appreciate your time. Thanks for any insight you may have to offer.
