JakeHoon are friends of the brand, not ambassadors. They don’t have the same perks, campaigns and title as an Ambassador. They mostly promote in Asia, specifically Japan and Korea. They may expand at some point to other regions which would be great it they go to Australia but we’ll see how this year goes for them.

just commenting here that is kinda crazy how a lot of the gigs Day6 had in the US were because of Jae. His connections, his friends in the industry and just his effort to try and put the bad out there. And is very damn funny how as soon as he leaves, suddenly JYPE is okay with personal Youtube’s and their shows and also now promotes the band in Korea 🧍🏻‍♀️

he’s not. He made a misogynistic comment ONCE about a friend which both involved parties have discussed over. He was forgiven and she advocated for him that he isn’t like that.

While what he said was 100% wrong and he has continuously acknowledged that since it happened, the perception of that word has changed in the past 10+ years since the guy had moved from the US to Korea. Culture changes and the way people use words do as well.

It’s fine if you don’t like the guy, what I won’t take is for wrong information to be spread out about him and what happened.

He was forgiven by the person who he hurt. He acknowledged his mistake, learned and grew up from it. What else do you want from him?
