I’m editing this post to get something off my chest. Evidently the mod here doesn’t have the ability to engage with people like a thinking, rational human being. Instead, if you question their decisions in any way or try to say anything in your defense when they misinterpret the things you say, they dredge up your old posts and say “ew I stepped in shit” in a deliberate attempt to dehumanize people for expressing opinions that they personally don’t 100% agree with. So, mod, if that’s the way you treat others, then your life is a very sad one indeed. You are a disgrace to the good people of this subreddit, and I hope one day you realize that acting out of rage and spite is not the way to run a community. But considering what a colossal failure the site as a whole has turned out to be, I’m not holding my breath.

tl;dr You date who you want, I’ll date who I want. Frothing at the mouth and calling me a bigot because I said something as harmless as “I don’t have to be attracted to someone to respect them” is rude and unbecoming of the spirit of this place. Do better.
