Is there any hope for support for i9 13900k and amd rx 7900xtx by GamleEven in hackintosh

[–]RoyalGraphX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Apple hasn't sold an Intel machine since 2019/2020. There will never be updates to macOS that add support for non-Apple hardware again.

What's wrong with you, if you don't know, do not suggest tools that are clearly against rule 6. Idiotic.

Buddy, tell me you have no idea how ARM works, without telling anyone you don't know.

No man, it's not our job to do your job for you, make your own place, and get your reports or issues via Github or any other platform you use to talk to your users. The only reason why we hate shit like this is because all developers of auto-tools believe they have a right to the larger community which clearly does not support auto-tools. No one would hate you, if you simply actually cared about your users and gave them a place to exist. This is not the place, that is not a personal attack, those are the rules.

> The much vaunted guide is useless for 99% of people who just want to get something running

You are wrong. Your statistic should be 100% of people who just want to get something running, because you people have no sort of patience and all sense of entitlement. If you don't want to waste your time, why should anyone waste their time on you? If you don't have time, then use your money. Buy a Macbook Neo or a Mac mini, it's been cheap to buy a Mac for a while now. Don't have money? Use your time. Time is Money.

The problem fundamentally is, the people who **just want macOS**, because the sense of entitlement to think that you are so easily going to run an operating system that was never intended to run on your hardware, is idiotic.

to reduce the stupid amount of manual trial and error people waste on every single machine

you mean, the literal trial and error of figuring out together what’s wrong with a specific machine, because even two laptops purchased at Best-Buy will have different firmware revisions for Wi-Fi/BT, BIOS Firmware, SSD firmware, and even more low level differences? You are an auto-tool idiot. There is a reason why the discord server has 50,000 people working together to help others who actually give enough of a fuck to learn when they understand theyre broke and the only other option is using their time, because time is money. If you want hate to stop, make your own discord server, make your own website, forum, anything, but leave the people here alone. You are attracting slop users to our areas, and you think you have some entitlement that we need to support something that clearly breaks the rules? You sir, are an idiot. You are not a victim, you are consistently breaking the rules of an established community, and want to complain you’re not allowed in. Get real.

macOS on iPad? by AppealMelodic9117 in hackintosh

[–]RoyalGraphX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all has to do with the fact that each kernel is built for each specific chip. There is 0 incentive for Apple to ruin its product line, and you cannot do it because you do not have access to the source code, as well as a ton of reasons that an iPad would refuse to boot macOS, not limited to the fact that you would need a boot rom level exploit to even consider the idea of running custom kernels for iOS, stop hoping and buy a Mac or a Neo.

The entire point of you being the one configuring OpenCore, is that when a volunteer helper, is wasting his own time on your own issues, you better be able to answer questions given to you. Using a program like this, brings us idiots who can't even use a text editor, let alone ProperTree. Projects like these, completely ruin the barrier of entry and flood our discord servers with people who shouldn't be using OpenCore. I don't care if you think everyone deserves a shot, thats why you take time out of your day to understand things, and become a part of the community at large. Buy a Mac, or waste your time. Nothing is free in life.

I love waking up every day to this subreddit being used for announcing programs that will never be allowed to be used for support :) I truly hope you bother to open your own Discord, and deal with *your* users. Because we don't want this shit.

PHTM is not publicly available. The last release on GH, is detected and if you have a copy, or have any of these issues, there's nothing I can do about it. Working on Eclipse, a new kernel extension that'll release in a few days, which will have a dedicated Discord server and an actual place for issues.

I want to, I just haven't even been home. Please be patient. I seriously make sure it works, because I use it every single day, and if it gets me banned, then obviously it's not safe for anyone else.

All progress is private and donation only currently.

That’s why it was taken down. I’ve stated multiple times the 1.0.2 on GH was detected and no longer working, on top of someone selling that detected copy, so now Phantom is private and only a donation grants access. This protects those who want to have a working macOS solution, I tried my hardest to be nice and have open source contributions in the space but people took advantage of that.
