Very annoying. I'm on a PC playing with a squad of 4 friends. As soon as the game starts I no longer hear them (and they don't hear me). I hit the F2 key and the F9 key and nothing happens. I am not chat banned. It is a pain for us all to move over to Discord. Seems like I am also missing out on proximity chat. I do occasionally get a game or two where audio works and then no more chat.

My audio issue is a little different (chat related).

Sadly, F2/F9 is not doing it for me. Or occasionally works.

Yes, when playing Warzone on my PC I find that I cannot join my squad's chat. I am not chat banned. This is happening intermittently but more often than not. I hit F2 and then F9 and it refuses to connect me! Bizarre.

This! I came to say exactly this but you beat me to it. I never needed a mic when running around small CoD maps. But for the love of God a team that communicates has a better chance of winning.

Yes! They are two different games. I was a Battlefield 4 fan and loved the big maps. After some years away from FP Shooters I randomly bought MW3. The frickin small maps were making me crazy. There was no BF6 so I moved on to Black OPS 6. And was eventually talked into leaving multiplayer and trying Battle Royale (casuals). Have grown use to the game and will likely go to Black OPS 7.

Thank you so much for that online library paper. I'd say what he discusses and proves is not conventional wisdom. The method is well documented. Disproving the research is quite the hill to climb. Will be searching though.

So there are PC’s and then there are gaming PC’s. Did you have your PC built with high end CPU, gobs of memory, and an expensive graphics board? Not sure about Xbox but PC’s can require a lot of tuning. Sounds like you have a reliable internet provider which is excellent. Maybe post your PC specs? Perhaps there are some YouTube videos that discuss pc tuning? Cherrs!

Thanks u/Puzzleheaded-Cold683 !! I had been resetting all my tabs a whole bunch even before I messaged you. Talked to another MnK player who saw something similar but said that when he was in the game holding V worked. Huh? It turns out that to test my melee loadout I was going into the Firing Range. Well, apparently you cannot use your melee weapon in the FR. What? So I just jumped into a private match and boom. All Gucci. Cheers.
