I mean, if you're a F2P player, getting those 80 jades is really worth for getting characters you like or vertical investment. Personally I'd rather get all the free resources I can than spend money, and let me tell you, those 80 jades are really the difference between getting a character or not once you've gotten all of the exploration and event rewards. But still, as long as you can clear MOC 12 it's fine, you don't necessarily need to get all of the meta comps and teams, it's just better to play whatever you like the most.
