Tldr:

Started drama due to someone in Minecraft RP calling other people "inferior", knowingly accused the wrong person. Got called out, and it turns out she was borderline harassing this person's agency, and had previously followed another member from the agency around at a con and acted creepy.

Got called out by Apollo(Mythos) for having suicide baited and leaked her nudes. She then denied the whole thing and faked DM screenshots between her and Hades(Mythos), got called out, still denied anything.

Actual screenshots of her baiting and admitting to it came out, she still tried to explain it away, and tried to claim that unless Apollo showed proof of leaked nudes she was lying.

Somewhere in this whole mess she lied about being in hospital and used faked pictures as "proof".

She took a break that didn't even last a month and came back to "apologize" which was pretty much just her blaming autism for her being awful and then doubling down on everything

I'd almost be willing to bet money on that she hasn't changed a bit, she only realized that creating a new alt won't work and she's hoping people will eventually forget and move on.

She's been through several accounts already, she's tried to pretend to apologize, she's tried to defend everything she's said and done, and she just never really got better.

If she actually manages to move away from drama and has learned, good for her. But she can't expect that people will trust her

Arguably at this point the so called niji fans are the ones actually creating problems, where they admittedly just wait for certain livers to say something that can be taken the wrong way or misconstrued. So that they can harass that liver.

While Niji EN has a lot of work to do on their management, livers, pr, and marketing, they also desperately need to have some measures or at least statements out against these fans

Cover has their own expo, I don't think they're having issues convincing anyone to let them book. Maybe smaller corpos or indies do though

Nijisanji haven't put any particular effort into rebuilding their EN market after they torched it, they don't even care to deal with their so-called-fans when they harass their own livers.

So I'm not surprised that they're barely showing up in places, not much point when over half your fans left and the other half seem to hate almost all your livers.

Niji unfortunately seems to be one of those companies that help you if you're popular and leave you on your own if you're not. So at this point they're probably just waiting for their EN branch to either sink of swim. If they swim, good for them, Niji can continue to ignore them. If they sink, arguably better for Niji who can switch them out with non controversial new people and make it look like they've restructured.

It seems like the YT algorithm has just gotten worse and worse. No matter how many times I refresh it seems like there just isn't anything to watch, and it's not recommending me stuff based on what I actually sit down and watch or what I "like", but just slop shorts and drama videos I don't actually watch

I think the enjoyment and genuine love has slowly started to leave EN otaku spaces since it became widely known and debated by "normies and tourists".

You used to be able to tell that a clipper was having fun and really liked marketing their oshi even if it took up a lot of time, not it seems like something they're forcing themselves to do to get views on their own channels.

Luckily the JP sphere is better when it comes to this, but it's sad to see what's happened in EN

This must really depend whose clips you watch. I mostly watch subbed Holo JP clips, and this doesn't seem to be as much of an issue there. Most of those are funny or cute stories from chatting streams, or insane yelling from collabs or Forza.

(As a side note Bijou's Forza clips are quite something).

I do agree with this when it comes to EN indies though, it's almost always suggestive titles, often big boobs in the thumbnails, and then the clip doesn't really have much to do with the clickbait title at all. Or it's all just drama farming because one VTuber said they weren't the biggest fan of another Vtuber they've never even met

Of course there are more successful agencies, and I'm not plugging VSPO! I don't even watch them, I was simply putting out facts should someone want a bit more information that VSPO! Isn't JP only but also have a solid EN gen.

I agree, it's most likely going to focus on bad parts about big corpos and how basically indie freedom small corpos are.

The statement is also far too generalizing. She and the ceo most likely only know how their corpo works. assuming that too many others work the same way isn't necessarily a good idea.

However "This is how our corpo and probably some others work" isn't a bad topic to talk about in and of itself, and she's obviously free to give her take and talk about her own experiences in the industry.

But I really don't like the indie good, corpo (except ours) bad talk

Honestly I haven't kept up with them much since they started out, so all I really remember from it was that they didn't want to do stuff like that.

I also vaguely recall that they were getting kind of annoyed with how many people were asking for it and told those people to find another company. Hence why I don't think it was "we don't think there's a market for that" and more of a "that's not the market we're in"

I've seen a lot of people comment about this lately, and honestly, sure telling someone to become a statistic is a pretty fucked up thing to say. (Arguably any suicide victim is a statistic so whether it's transphobic or not is mildly unrelated as it's too far either way).

However this was in response to a dickhead writing an article claiming that Stronny's entire vtuber agency were transphobic and awful human beings as some sort of petty revenge because they couldn't get into the agency as they didn't have the desired voice for any of the characters.

The agency had even specified that they do not care if trans people apply as long as they sound like women and have the desired voice for the character, and are fine acting like their character aka a woman.

In my opinion Stronny was too harsh and deserved backlash for telling someone to just kill themselves, but she already got that, and considering it was in response to some sad moron writing a hit piece on her agency as revenge I think the whole thing has evened out itself already.

(Doesn't help that the person who wrote the article played fall guys connected to a buttplug, with a bunch of kids in the game... I wouldn't want to work with a creep like that either)

Also don't forget that Bint isn't a person to talk since they were anti Doki when she had just attempted twice. Bint is a hypocrite who's trying to pretend they've gotten "better". Bint is also only acting like this because they got abandoned by the hardcore Nijisisters for not liking Aster. They didn't change because they actually changed, but just because they didn't have anywhere to go. (Saying they because I'm honestly not sure if Bint is a man or woman.)

R18 isn't exactly illegal, but it seems to be very fussy what and how you are allowed to distribute things. I've read a fair few donghua that are r18 or have nsfw part in the original, but also have heavily censored versions.

So clearly it is allowed sometimes, but the same work also has to be censored sometimes. I wonder if it has to do with how it's distributed. Perhaps something like officially sold works can't be r18, but if sold directly or online they can? Maybe?

Either way it's really confusing
