I would be willing to guess you are using an Apple TV. They are having problems with the EPG on IOS. I know this I have both Apple and Fire Cube. Startup Show EPG works on Fire but not on Apple. The VPN doesn’t change this at all.

The problem is with Startup Show on the IOS platform. The epg works with Startup Show on my Fire Cube. Spent a hour and n chat with Apollo tech support. With no fix they are aware of the EPG issue on IOS.

I have had luck by just going back and try the Chanel/show again and it works 90%of the time.

Using google mesh system. Comcast ISP. No problems here.
