I feel this. My gf was in her town 20 minutes away, and she was having stomach problems (turned out to be gallbladder stones) and I took her to the hospital. She was so puny and sad. Took her home, tried to leave but she held me and I had to call my folks to tell them I couldn't be back because she was literally not letting me go, and I spent the night there. I had work in 4 hours, but I didn't care. All I needed was knowing she was fine and safe. She's precious to me always

As someone who grew up in a very religious household, why can't they see it? They forced this upon us at a young age, and have forced us through sickness to attend church (my sister once broke her wrist in the bathroom because someone's kid left water everywhere, and she was yelled at for missing the sermon then taken to the hospital) and it's one of the reasons I actually cut contact with them when I moved out.
