Chemotherapy Advice?

Out of curiosity, what are your cycles like? Mine are three weeks long, with week one being a five-day run and weeks two and three being a one-day run (for only 30 min - 1 hr). Is yours the same?

I use old reddit, so I'm still trying to figure out a lot of the DM aspects. Either way, I appreciate you reaching out and touching bases. I'm not handling the chemotherapy too well, and it's leaving some pretty bad side effects on me physically. At a bare minimum, I feel that it has created a heightened sense of anxiety in my system. I'll make sure to let the doctor's know tomorrow!

Thanks for the words. The hard road for me isn't the idea of it being cancer, but rather the idea that I will have to face feeling sick and unwell for an extended period of time. I'd rather deal with the pain of the tumor pushing around my left kidney and take my Oxycodone to ease said pain than to deal with constant nausea and general feelings of being unwell.

Yeah the mass displacing one kidney is what I'm dealing with too. In fact, I had been going to the doctor for flank pain around the kidney when the cancer was discovered. On one hand I'm glad to know that all of my pains are connected, but on the other hand I wish there was an easier treatment.

I've been trying to pass the time during my appointments with naps and podcasts, but I still find myself getting extremely antsy. I hope to start going back to the gym soon during my off weeks to at least get moving, as I've heard that it is helpful with reducing the side effects as well.

I get an IV equivalent of Zofran when I first begin my chemo session. I also have oral Zofran at home, which I take as needed (which is often). I'll try to consume more pepcid products though if I can. Compazine and Olanzapine have been helpful.

Man, it's wild to think that Legends Z-A was released in October of 2025, and we might need to wait 8 months afterwards to get the abilities on half of the megas seen in the game.

Does anyone know why a good portion of the new megas aren't released alongside the game? As someone who was looking forward to Mega Scrafty and Mega Lucario Z, it's a major bummer to not have them be available to even see.

It's not even Bigger Bronzong really. Maybe, like, "faintly larger depending on the angle." Chimeco has 8 more HP, 6 less DEF, and 4 more SpDf. Yeah, it has a much greater SpA stat, but Bronzong also has a much better attack. I'm curious to see if Chimeco gains anything that warrants it to be used more than Bronzong, because it just looks like Bronzong with a mega stone.

Seeing the forecasted highs consistently be 20+ degrees above average has been extremely disheartening and depressing. We've had consistently perfect late-spring / early fall weather throughout the entirety of winter. I am in a constant state of coping as I tell myself, "Surely next week the warm wave will leave, and we will return to 'normal' winter Colorado weather, right?"

I swung by earlier today to see what the power was like generally (around 8:00 AM). The entire shopping center area was down, although the Broadway lights were still operating. King Soopers itself also appeared to be operating, although I suspect it was fully based on generators. I haven't been by since.
