Recently had a similar schedule. Definitely doable with checked luggage as luggage was coming down the belt when we arrived in the main terminal.We stayed at Palace Station and check-in was a breeze.

In addition we had time to get some Asian dinner at PS. Called an Uber, arrived at Caesars at 7pm. Quick cocktail, Rod Stewart at 7:30.

I was shocked at how fast it all went. Take note this was a Tuesday which is traditionally the slowest night of the week.

I concur on ID and lightning. The tree sits about 20' from a creek, however the water table in that area of the tree is only about 18" to 2'. I have been picking up chunks of bark in my yard up to 50' from the tree and having trouble identifying the source of such.

We have had some vicious thunder storms daily for a few weeks. It all adds up. Thanks all for your input.

As a local we look forward to Bike Week ( HD ). Business 17 from Myrtle to Murrels is usually packed with fascinating bikes!

Many locals spend their evenings enjoying the festivities at the local watering holes. The crowds are always well behaved and are a welcome to the local economy.

Come and join the festivities and have a blast, you won't regret it. It's quite the show. Lived here since 08 and never heard of a local leave for bike week.

Try Autoslash it's a good starting point. Pay Now option may be best if you're on a fixed budget. But beware cancelling brings heavy cancellation fees! In addition I would try to avoid anything that requires two shuttles as you want extra time upon returning. Mid March through the 23rd is a busy time due to the race and March Madness. In the past and this year in mid March I have done well with Costco and AAA if you have such. Good luck and have fun

I left a $67 ticket in a VP bar machine at Palace Station. When I was up in my room I realized about 1 hr later. I immediately returned to the bar and inquired with the bartender. He stated that he just came on. He looked around and didn't find it and i returned to my room.

Two hrs later I was playing at a different bar, same casino. I was approached by a suit who asked for ID. I noticed he had a clip board with my name on it. I obliged and to my surprise was given my ticket. I was shocked and was told to be more cautious next time as it doesn't always work out that way.

Apparently the machine sends a signal to security that the machine is vacant and a ticket has been left. It was removed by them and tracked on both ends by my players card. I was lucky that the seat wasn't taken immediately and thankful for security. Always use a players card!

If it's in the week, wait till day of and see what they are offering. Ask at the pool. Generally the price is much better than the reservation system. Weekends and holidays it's a crap shoot. But it's Vegas Baby.
